The accommodation at HiTide Hostel offers either a 6 or 12-bed dorm, a private room, or an apartment. Feel free to choose what is best suitable. In the hostel, there are room for your surfboards. Surfers and Surf HiTide Las Palmas know how important your board is so don't worry about it, your equipment is in good hands.
Program
Classes are held in English and Spanish. Across the city, there are over 30 surfable peaks, there are all kinds but certainly, the most popular is the area of La Cicer with several very good peaks and sandy bottom. The northern part of the island also has lots of waves.
These are mainly reefs and point breaks that works almost 365 days a year (they call it "North Shore"). They have a surf trip guide service for three or five days. Take a ride and find the best spot for yourself with local experts.

Javier Antúneo
Javier is a native Spanish instructor with perfect English and amazing skills for teaching, surfing techniques, and applied theory.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Gran Canaria Airport (LPA). Transfer from and to this airport is available for an additional cost (30 EUR). For more information regarding this option, please send an inquiry to Surf HiTide Palmas.
Arrival by bus
From the airport, please take bus number 60 (which costs 3 EUR). Generally, it departs at 11:15 pm at Santa Catalina bus station. Once you arrive at the bus station, you may reach the venue either by foot or by taxi. Please send an inquiry for the exact location.
There is also an option with night bus number 5. It will take you to the San Telmo bus station and then you would need to take a taxi (around 6 EUR). If you are coming after 11 pm, you need to take the night bus, this option takes one hour.
Arrival by taxi
If you prefer to take one of the taxis at the airport, kindly take notice it may cost around 50 EUR. You can order special airport transfer writing on WhatsApp and give your flight number, time of arrival, and your document number.
