I started surfing in 2008 during a trip to Morocco. I lived and surfed in Spain and Australia. I surfed in France, Indo (2x), Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, South Africa, British Virgin Islands, U.S East Coast and Portugal. I've been living in Central America since 2011, between Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I started a surf tour company called Surf Expedition in 2013 in Nicaragua and now own a surf camp close to Pavones, Costa Rica since 2016. To me it's all about taking our guests to special places where surf is uncrowded so they can have a good experience.

Sincerely one of the best experiences of my life. I will remember every moment of it. The surfing, the divers, activities, and the many moments of laughter made this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This is a life-changing experience also on the personal level. The coaches are amazing and caring and the organization of the whole trip is flawless, organized but also leaving us a bit of freedom to do as we wish. I would recommend this experience to everyone. The reviews do not lie. Do it, treat yourself.

I went to Nicaragua with a friend in January. We booked it without really doing much research on Surf Expedition or on Nicaragua. We just wanted to surf! Initially, I was a little pessimistic about the trip but I ended up being totally wrong. The trip was killer. Lots of surfing, exploring local non-touristy places, and a good amount of time relaxing. Seb and the crew made sure you were good at all times but left you alone to do your own things when you wanted to. When it comes to surfing, they have great locations with a nice selection of long and short boards. If you want lots of teaching or assistance, they will be there to help you and if not, they let you go do your own thing. Unfortunately, two-handed surf stroke is not allowed. As my buddy and I were from Ontario, we thought the Quebec or French thing would be an issue but it was not. I would encourage anybody to go as it was a great vacation. Planning on going to Costa Rica when I get the free time!

The surf trip in Nicaragua was truly a life-changing experience! It is an adventure from beginning to end. You get to meet amazing people, make precious memories, and discover an alluring country! Everything from the surf spots, the activities, the food, and the places we stayed were simply incredible. The guides are experienced, passionate, and patient. A huge thank you to the whole crew. I would do it all again in a heartbeat! Book the trip, you will not regret it.
