This surf camp will take place in the mythical, fascinating and kind town of Essaouira, Morocco. The town is bypassed by the hordes of beach tourists who descend on other Atlantic Coast destinations in summer. It brings plenty of windsurfers between April and November, but the majority of visitors come here in spring and autumn to wander through the spice-scented lanes and palm-lined avenues of the fortified Medina.
The surf house is an ancient mansion located in the heart of Essaouira Medina. Situated just near Bab Doukala. It's only a five-minute walk to the various markets (souks), unique artisan shops, argan oil producers, fish/vegetable markets, and 10 minutes away from the port, beach, and historic bastions.
Browse the many art galleries and boutiques and watch fishing nets being mended and traditional boats being constructed in the atmospheric port. Surf Cloud Nine offers a surf team with unbeatable local knowledge, Essaouira with beautiful weather all year round and Morocco with a coastline perfect for all water sports, a fantastic and unforgettable trip is more than guaranteed.

Surf Cloud Nine's excellent chef, Rachid, serves tasty Moroccan food almost every night, offering a mix of traditional Tagine and couscous dishes, delicious barbeques, fresh meats or fish, fresh vegetables, and delicious vegetable options.
Friday nights in Morocco are always couscous nights, however, you will be always free to explore the local restaurants in Essaouira. However, please let Surf Cloud Nine know if you have any allergy, restrictions, and/or other dietary needs. They will give their best to come up with exceptional dishes. Their diversity of really tasty Moroccan meals will make you feel satisfied and energetic to have more and more adventures.
Essaouira’s main beach is a wide sandy beach where is a great place for walking or running, but sunbathing can be a bit hard when the winds are strong. In Morocco, football is pretty famous, loved by almost everyone. Beach football is a common activity on weekends and if you think about taking a camel or horse ride you will be in the best place. Camel owners are always ready to offer it (bargain always). Be firm if you don’t want to take it.
Essaouira is the ideal place for those who are looking for some well-deserved rest. Surf Cloud Nine has a great Hammam's close to them. Get ready to be pleased from head to toe. Hammam is a skin scrum which melts stress and gets your skin to glow. It's a cultural practice really well worth it. Massages are given with Argan oil, an amazing nut oil which is known throughout the world for its healing properties.
Essaouira's large port is noisy, full of life, seagulls, and with a great atmosphere. You can see nets being repaired and traditional wooden boats being made. The boatbuilders supply fishing vessels for the whole Moroccan coast and even as far away as France and Spain. If you're not vegetarian or vegan don't miss the opportunity of trying a fresh fish.
Essaouira’s Medina is a must to visit there. Surf Cloud Nine is strategically based on its walls. It is an exceptional and well-preserved example of European military architecture in North Africa, the narrow streets, souks, street vendors, and whitewashed houses with wooden doors make it a pleasant place to walk and "get lost" among all the good vibes.
