In fact, you will find some of the most beautiful and uncrowded beaches in Costa Rica, with strategic secret spots that catch most swells from either North or South.
Airport transfer included: Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport
You will be staying for six nights at Turf Safari located near the beach.
Level 2 surfers can comfortably stand on the board and are focusing on catching unbroken waves. So you will learn to paddle through the white water efficiently and safely, work on agility and understand etiquette.
The major swell season is from April to October, but the clean surf season is from December to April with offshore winds. Typically classic morning sessions are glassy and offshore and afternoon sessions are light onshore. If you are a fan of pointbreaks then this is your ideal destination, still you can find beach-breaks, river mouths, reef-rocky and coral-rocky surfing spots near. A little something for every kind of surfer.
The North Pacific side of Costa Rica is famous for its beautiful long white sandy beaches, warm sunny days and mix of lively and laid back surf towns. Tamarindo is probably Costa Rica's most popular surf town. You could call it a village but it has grown in recent years and is now home to a great mix of bars and some of the country's best seafood restaurants. The town is big enough to cater for those looking for a family surf holiday, a bit of luxury and also for those who want to mix a bit of partying with surfing.
Further south is Avellanas Beach and Negra Beach, often selected as the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica with crystal clear water and year round consistent surf.
This surf camp will take place at Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a legendary surfing location. Its geography makes it a classic trip choice, having two coastlines - the Caribbean and the Pacific - which both produce great waves and have quality surf spots. The Caribbean side has a short surfing season and produces large swells and the Pacific coast has big, but smaller than Caribbean swells, with a more consistent surf.
Daily breakfast, as well as healthy snacks and beverages at the beach, are included.
