St Girons Surf House is an awesome beach house on the first floor of the dune, divided into two identical houses, just five minutes walking from the surf spot. Each side, with a superficial of 100 square meters, fits eight people.

There are three rooms with two shared bathrooms with showers and two cabinets. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a shared fridge or freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. A big living room with a large TV, as well as a nice covered terrace to chill with a dining area, deckchairs, and barbecue. There is a garage with a large storage and washing machine. A lot of space to chill and relax.

Whether you are alone, as a couple, as a family, or as a group, the Saint Girons Surf House welcomes you in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The Saint Girons Surf House offers an authentic and relaxing experience between forest and sea for those who want to dive into nature and enjoy surfing and its incomparable lifestyle.

Surf lessons, guiding, and equipment are all available on-site. The surf lessons are based in Saint Giron's plage, a few minutes walk from the Surf House. You will surf every day with Bernardo in a group of a maximum of eight people. During your stay, you will have a video surf analysis. After the surf course, you can enjoy your free time - either on the beach, in the station, in the forest, or in the house.

Bernardo Cornelio Moita

Bernardo is a passionate Franco-Brazilian surf instructor. He speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. He will adapt the surf lesson to your level and share his knowledge and values such as respect, friendliness, and solidarity

Location

The camp will take place in Vielle-Saint-Girons, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. A few minutes walk away from the Saint Girons Surf House, nice bars, restaurants, and snacks are there for you. Saint Girons Plage is a small town but there’s everything you need for your vacation. Restaurants with seafood options, snacks with fast food, ice cream places, bars open until 2:00 a.m., market, surf shops, clothing, bakery and coffee, bike rentals, etc.

Perfectly located between ocean and forest, the Department of Landes is the ideal destination for your holiday. Twenty kilometers away, you can visit the Courant d’Huchet, a natural reserve also called the "Little Amazon" for the richness of its fauna and flora. You can also discover Hossegor, the European surf capital, or Biarritz in the Basque Country. Spain is also a very good plan: you can do a one-day trip to San Sebastian to enjoy the wide variety of “pintxos" in the tapas bars.

Every morning, you will enjoy a typical French breakfast included in the price with bread, butter, eggs, cheese, honey, jam, ham, etc. Breakfast is waiting for you every morning in the common kitchen: tea, coffee, chocolate, cereals; milk, eggs, cheese, bread, jam, and seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables from a local market gardener. Most of the time, they try to make their purchases following fair trade.

Train station SNCF Dax is 40 kilometers away from the venue. Transfers from and to DAX train station cost 30 EUR per person per way.

Cancellation Policy

A reservation requires a deposit of 17% of the total price.
The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
The rest of the payment should be paid 15 days before arrival.
