Relaxing Bahamas Yoga Retreat

This retreat is one-of-a-kind yoga experience as certified yoga instructors, Jessica and Anjali, lead this specialized retreat from Special Interest Tours and Soul In Motion Yoga. With classes offered at all levels, combining the various specialties of both Jessica and Anjali (Stand up paddleboard yoga and essential oils included), this trip promises both the peace of a retreat and the adventure of beach-side activities. Guests are also invited to stay in the sanctuary of private condos and enjoy catered meals to further the retreat experience. Families and friends of yogis are welcome to travel with you to enjoy the vacation.

You will be staying at Pineapple Fields Resort. Just the perfect size, Pineapple Fields Resort sits on 5 acres of lushly landscaped gardens. A total of 32 condos in eight buildings are clustered around an oversized kidney-shaped pool. Each building has two upstairs and two downstairs units. There are a total of 28 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom condos. The perfect cross between a hotel room and condominium, all units are no more than a few hundred feet from the most spectacular beach in the Bahamas.

Day 1

Please arrive at Governor Harbor International Airport by 16:30. Soul In Motion Yoga will meet you at the airport at 16:30 and transport you in a private vehicle to the Pineapple Fields Resort, which will be your home for the next 4 nights. Upon arrival, there will be time to settle into your room before the welcome yoga session. In the night, you will gather as a group for dinner at the main house. You will end your first night with an evening workshop, guided by both Anjali and Jessica. The workshop will be focused on “Rest and Unwind” gentle yoga, followed by a guided aromatherapy meditation in savasana.

Day 2

The day will begin with a morning meditation on the beach. Then Anjali will lead an all levels class, while SUP yoga class will be led by Jessica. Breakfast will be served following the yoga session. Snorkels will then be provided for those interested in a snorkeling excursion. Afterwards, lunch will be provided back at the main house. You will then have the afternoon free to relax and explore at your leisure. There will be a second yoga session held in the late afternoon. After dinner, there will be an energy-aroma meditation workshop with both Jessica and Anjali.

Day 3

You will kick off the day with a beachside meditation, followed by the morning yoga session. After breakfast, you will break up into your chosen activities: Jessica will be leading a stand up paddleboard excursion and Anjali will lead an Aroma yoga, heart-opening workshop at the Banyan Tree. Both workshops will be offered twice, before and after lunch. In the afternoon, there will be another yoga session before dinner.

Day 4

This morning will start with a morning meditation on the beach, followed by a yoga session. Today both Jessica and Anjali will be offering land classes. Anjali will lead a Power Vinyasa yoga class on the beach deck, while Jessica will guide an energy-aroma gentle flow at the Banyan Tree. Breakfast will follow the class, after which you will depart for your north island adventure. Once in the north, you will explore the Queen’s Baths, visit the Glass Windows Bridge, and then picnic on the Caribbean side. After lunch, you will visit the settlement of Gregory Town where you will have time to stroll and shop. Afternoon yoga will resume at Pineapple Fields Resort upon your return. After dinner, you will hold a farewell bonfire on the beach.

Day 5

A morning meditation and yoga session will be offered followed by breakfast. Anjali will lead a pre-flight stretch gentle yoga class, while Jessica will offer a moderate Vinyasa flow.

This retreat will take place in Eleuthera, Bahamas. East-southeast of historic Governor’s Harbour, along well-known Banks Road, hugging some of the most sensational Atlantic beachfront on Eleuthera Island, you will find Pineapple Fields Resort. The resort sits 100 yards from a spectacular two mile pink powdered crescent shaped beach. With never more than a handful of people on the beach, you will think of it as your very own discovery. This is every beach bum’s paradise.
