Program
There will be seven surf lessons included in your package. Aside from the surfing, you may also join other available activities (this may incur extra charges). Every day, there will be enough time to catch the waves in Las Escobas del Venado. Music and dancing are a core part of the Selina experience so if you're staying here over the weekend, you may encounter parties. They would love to see you on the dancefloor, however, you will find complimentary earplugs in your room in case you need to get to sleep early.
Sample daily itinerary
After an early morning surf lesson, head to the beachfront restaurant La Palma, and enjoy a delicious avocado toast accompanied by a refreshing smoothie or join the live music sunset sessions while sipping on the house cocktails. Head to the comfortable well-equipped work area or grab a board and catch waves like a local with the help of the expert guides from Shokogi Surf Club. Whether you want to dip your toe in the water or perfect your roundhouse cutback, you are guaranteed to improve your skills fast.

Selina Surf Club will take you to the best places to learn to surf with top-notch equipment and friendly surf pros. Try your hand at kitesurfing or take your skills to the next level with surf classes for beginners, intermediates, and experts. Need a break from the water? Yoga is always an option, or head out to zipline through the jungle or explore the hidden white-sand islands of Isla Iguana nearby.
If you are lucky enough to be here between July - October, join a whale-watching tour. Humpback whales pass through during their seasonal migration, and Venao is one of the best places to spot them. Arrival by bus
Take a 10 USD bus from Panama City to Las Tablas from the Albrook bus terminal (schedules can be found online). The bus trip should take about four and a half hours. In Las Tablas, either catch the 1:30 p.m. bus to Playa Venao or take a taxi for 35 to 40 USD.
Arrival by shuttle
Book the Selina direct shuttle from Casco Viejo at the front desk or walk from Selina Venao River, just 10 minutes away.
