Cat’s Windmill
Moinho do Gato (Cat’s Windmill), holds up to 4 guests in two rooms. With a fully equipped kitchen, you will be able to prepare your meals and enjoy them.
The 2 rooms are in a shared house, they are private and the washroom is also shared between these two rooms on the top floor of the house. Kitchen and living room and outside patios are also shared between the guests. There is a TV, free WifF and the kitchen can be used as well all the appliances.
The property offers tons of outdoor space for you to unwind and enjoy nature.
Staying at Moinho do Gato will be a unique experience, as Secret Sintra kept the original inner workings of the structure.
The central location of Moinho do Gato offers the opportunity to visit the charming town of Sintra and its beautiful Serra de Sintra, explore the Colares Wine Route, and also enjoy the region's beautiful beaches. For those looking for an extra dose of relaxation, the meditation center Kadampa Deauchen has tons of offers and allows a great visit to a beautiful Buddhist temple.
Casita
Apartment/studio, inside a private property sorrounded by fruit trees, flowers, a giant grass backyard with lots of space to enjoy outdoors. Located in a super well served area in terms of restaurants, local supermarkets, ATM, gas stations, everything you might need to have a relaxed vacation time and not have to move around that much to buy groceries or go out for lunch/dinner because most of it is doable in a walkable distance. The house has 2 beds, a couch that turns into a double bed and a second bed is on a mezzanine, 1 private washroom with shower toilet and sink, all the necessary appliances to cook on the kitchen, a table inside and outside to enjoy some barbecue sessions after surfing. This apartment is placed only 3 minutes away from the closest beach, 15 minutes away from the beautiful Sintra Village and 45 minutes from Lisbon.
Program
Each lesson is 90 minutes long and you will get the right surfboard and wetsuits according to the season.
During the lessons, you will have quality surf material suitable to your surf level, to give the conditions and comfort you deserve.
Sam, your instructor, with more than 20 years of surfing experience will make sure to explain how to deal with surf equipment, and you will also receive all the critical knowledge and skills to make sure everyone has a safe and fun surfing experience.
You will learn how to prepare your body for the surf session with a proper warm-up, enter the water in the right place and at the right time, choose waves, paddle efficiently, and manage to stand up on board.
Surf lesson schedules vary from day to day as they depend on tides and weather conditions, so the schedule will be presented to you the day before the class.

Samuel grew up surfing in Sintra's beach coastlines and he has been surfing for more than 20 years. He is professional, very passionate, and super dedicated! For him, there is nothing more satisfying than watching his students progress and also having fun. Sam has been teaching for 8 years now and has traveled from countries in Central America, the Caribbean, US, Canada, and Africa always with his boards following him. He is also a certified swim instructor and worked as a lifeguard for many years, and that is the reason why you will be in good hands the entire time. Sam is the true local!!

Located a quick drive from the mystic village of Sintra, in the Sintra Cascais Natural Park, the 1848 windmill accommodation makes your visit even more magical. The location is a quiet place with lots of privacy
