I like the hotel itself. It had gym, a very nice pool, was pretty clean abd comfy. Rooms were serviced regularly, and had water, toiletries. It was actually better than I expected.
When I arrived, there was no surf plan for me. I couldn’t get hold of the activity organizer so I had to take care of everything myself. Went and booked lessons with a local surf camp.

I really liked the people (staff), the facilities and this wonderful island. Best waves in Maldives. Everything is just there 5, 10, 15 minutes from the hotel. Just perfect!
The food was good but not excellent. I expected more from the seafood...
I was there for 9 days and ate at the hotel restaurant at least once a day. Every time the food took about half an hour or more to get to our table and sometimes there was just us. Wait 40 minutes for 1 hamburger seems a little bit too long for me. One day they had just two kind of sandwiches and nothing more from the menu, the food was over! The service was nice.
Season Paradise offers all the luxury you would expect from the Maldives without the crazy price tag!
This hotel rooms are well appointed with a great view over the Ocean and daily room service.
The staff are absolutely fantastic and very helpful at organising transfers, activities and at trips on your behalf, they're always smiling and the service was great.
The buffet breakfast is delicious with plenty on offer and the restaurant meals are delicious and very well priced.
Th view from the roof top pool is what really makes this hotel very special as it has a 360 degree of the ocean and is amazing for watching the sunset.
We absolutely loved staying here and will be back again in the future - very highly recommended!

Beautifull nature around hotel. Very nice Personel. Very clean and tidy. It can be a little bit boring because of the lack of content on the island. But with Imrans help everything can be much better

I can highly recommend this property.
The rooms and hotel are new and scrupulously maintained and cleaned.
For surfers you are just 5 minutes walk to Cokes surf break with views from the fourth floor balcony out to chickens. The pool area is amazing with views across the island.
Breakfast was included in our package and was served as a buffet each day.
We chose to eat at some of the local restaurants for dinner (there are not many on the island so choice is limited) but had the buffet dinner at the hotel on our first night. We found the food a little bland and unimaginative and I would encourage the hotel to introduce some more local flavour. That said, other guests we spoke to had dinner at the hotel each night and enjoyed it.
The staff were terrific and very helpful, they even helped me dig out some sea urchin spikes I gathered when surfing...thanks guys.
We really enjoyed our stay and if you are heading to the Maldives check this place out, it's a fantastic and relaxing holiday location.
Thumbs up to Season Paradise!

Probably the best place to stay at Thulusdhoo island. Extremely friendly and helpful staff can arrange many activities in the area. Great hotel and room facilities. The rooftop pool is an excellent place to relax before dinner observing beautiful Maldivian sunsets. Nice beach area, lots of trees provides shade to rest during hot noon hours. Absolutely loved the place.

Everything was really great!
Few things to make experience better -
1. Sometimes mosquitoes were bothering me outside the hotel. I don't know if it's possible to fix that - maybe spray something.
2. Second - please add boiled eggs to your breakfast menu, there was pretty good omelet - why not add boiled eggs?
In general, very awesome stay, view from the pool is the best on the island - totally worth it! Very helpful staff, I really mean that. They try to help and answer any questions you might have.
Stayed in Season Paradise for one night and absolutely loved it! This luxurious hotel stands out as a chic, classy place of accommodation where one gets a balance of living in style and comfort while glimpsing into local Maldivian island life. Best of both worlds? Definitely!
The hotel consists of immaculately furnished rooms that are well equipped and maintained. If you stay in the sea view rooms, you're in for a visual treat! Popped into an executive suite for a look about and it was a really impressive spacious unit complete with a jacuzzi. The hotel's conference room is large enough to comfortably hold 60 people, and the incredible sea view outside the large windows would be motivation enough to complete meetings as efficiently as possible so everyone can go out to the beach already!
The hotel has facilities from gym to juice bar to spa to infinity pool at the roof top. And what a gorgeous pool it was! Set against the backdrop of beach and sea, the pool was inviting and perfect for photo ops. (Think endless shades of brilliant blue.) From the rooftop you also get a good view out into the channel where dolphins play and frolic and it was a mesmerising sight to watch! It's worth noting that sea view rooms get the same amazing sight as well.
Foodwise, the buffet spread was really tasty. Apparently they arrange outdoor BBQ dinners in the garden in between hotel and beach on Friday nights too!
I heard about the fantastic location of Season Paradise with regards to surfing, diving and snorkelling, and my only regret would probably be spending too little time there to experience every single one of these activities available. Wish we stayed longer too to explore the island more as well as visit the Coca-Cola factory. But there was one activity I did do which thoroughly fulfilled my too short trip: DOLPHIN-WATCHING!
Was out at the beach in front of the hotel with my friend building a 3D sand sculpture of a whale shark with the friendly staff when the dolphins started popping up everywhere out in the channel. Before I knew it I was out on a dinghy sprawled out on the front deck for hours lost in awe at being surrounded by dolphins in every direction.
The staff were always friendly with ready smiles, and here's a special shoutout to Imran and Daria for adding extra doses of awesomeness to our already fantastic trip. Definitely looking forward to coming back again and we'll make sure to stay longer next time!
This was our first time we travel to Maldives and agency suggested this wonderful new hotel. We were traveling with 2 small kids (3years) so were thinking how it would be since there were no more than few reviews.
Season Paradise is the only hotel located in Thulusdhoo, at Nort Atol, - 40min speed boat or 1,5hr by ferry from airport and capital city - Male. Thulusdhoo itself is a small, nice island with around 1,000 people living there. But, atmosphere is nice and you feel welcome here.
From the moment you arrive you can relax and enjoy your relaxing time or activities that this place offers. Upon arrival to hotel all guests are offered welcome drink. Hotel staff and the service provided were excellent, very helpful and always with smiley faces and its very nice atmosphere.
Room was very clean with enough supplies of bottled water every day. The suite was extraordinary nice and big with cute details in decorations and beautiful pictures made from corals and shells. Bathroom within suite is extra large with shower and jacuzzi.
In front of hotel is beautiful garden where restaurant organizes grilled outdoor dinners if weather is nice more than one day in week.
Food and service in hotel restaurant are excellent, really professional - top of tops. Breakfast was excellent, similar meals but with some variations on daily basis - cereal, vegetables, pancakes, waffles, cakes, fresh fruits, and eggs prepared how you request at front kitchen - plain, with cheese, boiled... some times even noodles for breakfast :) Of course juice, coffee and tea available at all meals, and if you want fresh juice you can order from menu if available. Lunch is usually buffet with various meals, starting with a soup of the day, different salads, some vegetables, noodles or rice, chicken and/or beef, and always some fish, always great prepared. One of those meals is usually spicy. For desert there are offered few different cakes sometime local ones and fresh fruit, or you can always order some extra ice cream if you are not into cakes. On some days lunch is served but you have few variety in menu or you can order something else if available. Dinners are buffet or if outside grill BBQ, that is a must to try if weather allows. Variety of food, with a choice from fish or meat, pasta, rice... I would suggest to try fish, especially one that Chef recommends, and great noodles :) Sometimes food for kids is too spicy, but its always possible to order French fries or plain noodles...
Every morning hotel's staff is cleaning the beach in front and garden, but still its better you watch where you step if bare feet especially if you walk further away from hotel. Have in mind that this is inhabited island and not all locals take care of garbage. In front of hotel and also little bit further are Other beaches on the island are with signs no bikini, so if you don't like beach in front hotel you can go to sandbank or some of close uninhabited island.
On the hotel's top floor you can find the gem of the island and hotel - Infinite pool with spectacular view, relaxing spa center and fitness room. Towels are provided whole day long, also if you go to beach be sure to ask at the reception for towel. At reception you can ask them to install you parasol at beach in front. If staying more days I would suggest to use one of massage packages, relax and enjoy.
Hotel offers few excursions you can take - small island opposite to Thulusdhoo, called Chicken Island with such breathtaking beach, sea, view... dolphins, snorkeling, or trip to some resorts or Male.
Twice a day, in the morning (around 9) and early afternoon (14.30-15.30) you can see group of dolphins passing the island... the best to see them is from the pool, but better view is closer - from boat or from beach... fantastic view, every day :)
Wi-Fi is best at reception, but its usually depends on signal strength.. we got Maldives SIM card since we staid longer, but signal was also not always.. hopefully when they got optics functioning on the island Internet would be better. For checking mails or sending messages from time to time its ok as is, just don't count on that its always available...its Maldives...
One our last days we went to see Coca cola factory, there are few places where you can see that Coca Cola is present on the island - they have made big kids playground, few places for tapped water, and in few places you can get Coca Cola in glass bottle.
If you have time be sure to can ask hotel staff to take you with buggy for a ride around island, or take a bicycle ride (its free but ask at reception, hotel has bikes for 2 or 4 people). You can always take a short walk from one side to another, or walk around the island in less than 40min.
Dear all Season Paradise staff - from reception, restaurant, service, spa, management... all of you dear friends we are happy we had chance to meet and we THANK YOU all very much for the beautiful time we spent there feeling like home.. with I have to point out once more extra excellent service. Hope to see you all again our lovely second home, Season Paradise!
we went here for our honeymoon. that was the first time we went to Maldives.
We firstly spotted this hotel at Airbnb, and proceed the booking via other app instead.
This hotel is the only hotel located in Thulusdhoo, an island located in the South part of Male, the capital city.
Thulusdhoo itself is a small, nice island with only 1,000 people living there, 1,5hr by ferry from Male.
Season Paradise is recently opened hotel (less than a year ago if im not mistaken)
But the service provided was beyond expectation. they strive to fulfill our needs during our stay.
room was clean, very clean, and the suite was extraordinary with big room and jacuzzi inside (only 4 suites available on this hotel)
staffs were very helpful, although most of them dont speak English, we were escorted to Coca cola factory, the sole Cocacola factory in the Maldives.
Since this hotel is also located in a small island, the beachea are very awesome. we went to a small island (arranged by Season Paradise as well, free of charge as compliment since their infinite swimming pool was under maintenance during our stay) called the Chicken Island with such breathtaking view.
This hotel provided a free of charge buggy and they can even show us around the island (whoch was relatively small, you can walk from south to north for only around 20 minutes)
They also arranged our speedboat back to Male since we were checking out on Friday (limited ferry service on Friday)
this hotel was exceptional for us, with reasonable price, wonderful view, and we had a really good time.
Oh, and breakfast was also nice, they provided simple western-style breakfast.
I would suggest them to consider providing Maldivian breakfast too, so that guests can experience Maldivian dishes as well
Thank you very much for the great service, Season Paradise!

We really enjoyed this property. It was secluded and the staff were friendly. Mr. Nahid and his crew really made our stay pleasant. I would advise that this hotel is located on a local/ Muslim Island and they had 5am prayer every morning. Also, if you're looking for entertainment, this is NOT the place to be. However, they offer a day trip to Club Med for 180 (boat transfer) and 140 (activities and drinks). We really enjoyed that. As we are vegans the food options were limited but if you don't have any food restrictions then it shouldn't be a problem. Moreover, the gym is nice, but can get quite hot when occupied. Also note, that if your flight arrives after 5:30pm you will have to take a private boat to the island, but you can arrange with the hotel and they will sort you out on Male. The same is true if your flight leaves early. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Swimming pool very nice, I like the activities which hotel offered. Breakfast is good and hotel has free bycicle for me to travel around the island. If there is a small boat for guest to rent, that will be perfect. Coz I want to go nearby island visit but hotel don't have any boat for me.

Season Paradise is definitely commendble.
Our room is clean and new . There is TV , coffee/tea facilities, refrigerator, and a balcony that boasts a magnificent view. The bed mattress is too firm for me though.
But what really made our stay great are the staff of the hotel. They were ready to go out of their way to help us and were unquestionably efficient . Their welcoming smiles brightend our first day despite the bad weather. They made me feel safe too.

Positives: Nahid is the best person in this hotel. He will do his best to assist with any inquiry. Ask him about the private beach ;) The sea view from top floor room was truly stunning.
Everything clean and functioning. Lots of toiletries. Bed decorated every day.
Negatives: Really poor wifi + available only in a small reception area not suitable to fit more than 10 guests at the same time. Also to cut cost the wifi is off at night from midnight.
Food - massive disappointment. No fresh juice for breakfast or dinner available. Cooked food not even lukewarm, pasta undercooked, meat dry and overcooked, everything completely tasteless. After two dinners I have cancelled dinners for the rest of my stay and ate out.
Room - despite being on a fourth floor I had cockroach in my room and no-one seemed to be surprised about it. Also from early morning til late night been listening to water splashing over the edge of the infinity pool just above my room.
Beach - forget about bare feet walks on a beach. Beach is covered in broken sea shells, corals and rubbish. Also the bay is shared with water sports so you swim in between small boats and beginners learning to maneuver jetski.
We decided to stay on a more local island in the Maldives and we were a little skeptical about staying at a brand new hotel with no reviews on it.
We were however pleasantly surprised to find the hotel to be everything it promised. It was very clean, in a prime location, and the staff were amazing. They also had a local guy cooking the restaurant meals and every meal we had was delicious!
For a new hotel they were organized, friendly and very accommodating and can only imagine is only going to get better.
We stayed in this hotel 7 nights and we really enjoyed it!
When booking: they always answered all our emails very kindly. Reception arranged a pick up at 10:00 and they were just on time. The boat transfer guys were so kind that they stopped during the way twice so we could see the dolphins playing around. Its a 35 minutes ride, you are not going to waste time here.
Hotel/Room/Facilities: All the staff is wonderful, and we mean, all of them. Welcome fresh juice drink at check-in. Wifi only in the lobby. There is no internet in any room although it seems like this is going to change as they are putting routers in all floors. The rooms are clean, new, fresh. The beds are pretty hard however they are going to bring new mattrasses to make them softer in request. The rooms with view towards the sea are very beautiful and the terrases have chairs and a table. We got a room in the second floor (I had asked for higher floors) and we could still see a little bit of the sea between the palms. Watter bottles every day is definitely a plus. Plenty of toilet amenities. Kettle and frigde in all rooms. Aircon works just perfect.
The rooftop pool is a big plus although something broke and it was closed during almost all our stay due to reparation. The hotel compensate us with free tours to Chicken Island (very beautiful) and half price in some other excursions. There is also a very nice gym that invites to train, bring your training gear because the view is so motivating!
The garden is spacious however it could improve the way it looks and it is difficult to know which are the sun chairs that belong to the hotel as the only bikini beach of the island is full with other guests houses chairs and beds. Btw: beach towels are available in the reception.
The hotel offers free island tours, make sure you don´t miss it. You can also rent a kayak to visit the dolphins that every-single-day swim/play/spin just in front of the hotel. Beautiful!
The food: Friday´s barbaque dinner in the garden is not to miss. Nice breakfast buffe with super kind staff. Tasty lunch buffe. Complimentary coffee and tea all day.
Tips: Remember there is no alcohol in this island as is a local island. Visit the restaurants and shops in the island, you can make big savings by eating with locals. (Check my other reviews in Maldives to know more). The mosquee nearby will call to pray 05:00 in the morning so if you are sensitive ask for a room on the opposite side of the mosquee. Take snorkeling gear and plastic shoes with you because the reef is just 20 meters away and the variety of fishes and manta rays is astonishing! Bring also good sunblock.
Thank you Season Paradise team, Imran, Mohammed, Joanna, Daria, Jay and so many others!

The island of Thulusdoo was a great choice to enjoy a relaxing family trip where we escaped the hustle and bustle of other more popular islands in the Maldives. The location is ideal since its close to the airport and Male. The locals are very friendly and there are very good spots to snorkel around the reef exactly in front of the hotel. Season paradise. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and very helpful and my son loved the seafood at the restaurant. I recommend this hotel .

I spent 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. Staff are super friendly, roof top infinity pool is great for chilling out and coling down. A little more variety in the beakfast would be nice. Transport to and from the island was extremely efficiently arranged . We spent our first and last night in Hulhumale as I thought it would be more difficult to get to Thulusdhoo, however this was not the case and we could have been picked up from the airport. Thulusdhoo island is a wonderful place to relax. You can snorkel on the beach right outside the hotel
We booked a sea view room and it was well worth it.
I would happily return to Season Paradise
we spend 3 days at the hotel, which i didnt call it a hotel, but more like a resort. hotel is in a Good location,USP is infinity pool, prompt and efficient staff, enjoyed our stay...

We have just spent 2 lovely weeks at Season's Paradise however getting to and from the island proved harder than it should have been.
We booked the hotel through hotels.com on very short notice. We didn't receive a confirmation email from Hotels.com and so we decided to send a email directly to Season Paradise to confirm our booking and transport to the island. Our flight didn't land into Malé until 9.30pm and the hotel manager called us and explained that they couldn't get a boat to take us to Thulusdhoo until the next morning. The only alternative was to pay a $200 for a private transfer. Fortunately he offered us another option to stay a night in the sister hotel at Season Holidays on Malé just 10minutes from the airport. A boat would then collect us the next morning at 8am for only $60. However we were picked up 8:30am, got driven around and around Malé for 1 hour 30min before the boat finally departed at 10:30am. Not a problem, more of an inconvenience although on the return journey a similar issue occurred. As our flight time was early morning the manager kindly offered again to put us up in the sister hotel so we didn't have to get the $200 private boat hire. So we left Thulusdhoo at 2pm and we were told our driver would be waiting to pick us up at the other end and take us to the sister hotel for the night. Sure enough at the other end there was no sign of the driver. We walked everywhere in the airport to try and find him with no luck. We then waited in the departures section for half an hour before I decided to phone the hotel to see where our lift was. He said I'll tell him to leave now so he'll be 10 minutes. This again did not happen. To cut a long story short, 2 hours later and after a number of excuses we were rounded up and put on a bus which finally after a few stops took us to the sister hotel for the night. We arrived here at 16:30. The staff of Season holiday were apologetic and extremely nice. However the communication and organisation is non existent so just be aware.
We arrived at Season Paradise Hotel and were offered a welcome drink. The check in process was fabulous, the reception staff are very helpful and can speak English very well. We got to our room and we're a little disappointed. It was a twin room with a small balcony and no sea view. We headed back down to reception and asked if it was possible to have a sea view room. The receptionist checked and said she would have to ask the manager for us. We waited on the big comfy chairs in reception. After a very short while the manager came out and introduced himself. He said he could give us a bigger room with a sea view which was great. Our new room was fabulous, much bigger with a large balcony and a great view.
The breakfast is more than adequate. It is very repetitive but you have everything you need from made to order omelettes, cakes, cereal, fresh fruit and more. There is always tea, coffee and fruit juice available too. The waiting staff in the restaurant are lovely and so professional. As soon as you finish one plate they are there to take it away.
The pool area is amazing! Exactly as you see on the pictures. I'd say it's about 15m long and about 4ft depth. The views are spectacular! There are always lots of towels available. The gym is very good, we went most days. It could do with a water cooler in there as it gets very hot because the aircon doesn't stay on. If you want to use it I'd recommend you going up about an hour before to turn it on, otherwise it's just too hot. They could do with a couple of exercise matts and small towels.
The beach is nice. There is one spot of water that is crystal clear and great for snorkelling. There is quite a lot of coral so if you can buy sea shoes these would help but we managed ok without. There are dolphins that swim past most morning's and evenings, a massive pod of about 80 I'd say. You can see the from the pool area and from your balcony. They jump out of the water and spin.
There is a small guesthouse next to the hotel and they have a seating area and sun beds on the beach which we didn't realise on the first day and they came and moved us. Season Paradise have their own sun beds a bit further down the beach. We rented a Kayak/Canoe for two hours hoping to see the dolphins close up but were unfortunate. It was good fun though, however the currents are so strong so it's hard work. One of the staff 'Nagaraj' watched us for the two full hours to make sure we were ok, he even took some photos and videos of us on his phone to show us at the end. He sent them to us, bless him. The cost to rent it was $25 for two hours.
We were under the impression that it would be very expensive to eat on the island as you here things about the Maldives being extortionate. We thought that with us only being bed and breakfast we would be spending a fortune on food. The hotel offer a buffet lunch at $10pp and buffet dinner at $15pp which we thought was very reasonable. Two nights in the week they also do an outdoor BBQ. They offer an À la carte menu as well however it is never clear when this is available. We had it twice on our stay but asked for it again on three separate occasions and they said it wasn't available. There are three other restaurants on the island we went to as well where you could have lunch for as little as $12 for two. There are lots of shops too where you can buy things like crisps, chocolate and drinks.
When we came to leave, we told the manager that our flight from Malé was at 8.10am so we'd need a boat at around 6am. He again explained that we would need a private transfer to Malé at $200 as they don't have a boat at that time. He again offered us a night in the sister hotel the night before so we would only have to pay $60 boat transfer, saving us $140 again.
I would 100% recommend this hotel. The staff make the hotel, they are absolutely fantastic and they do absolutely everything they can to accommodate you. The hotel is absolutely spotless, the cleaners are always working and your room is cleaned everyday and some days you even get towel swans! The wifi is awful and only available in the reception area. We went for two days without any which is fine but my partner needed to get his work emails. The receptionist even offered her phone for him to log onto them. This again just shows how fantastic the staff are. It would be great if the staff wore name tags so we could praise them individually.
I would just like to thank the manager and all the staff once again for a fantastic two weeks. We really did feel apart of the family at Season Paradise.

In a desperate need to get away from the icy cold of my home environment, and all the while nursing a broken leg back to health, the Season Paradise was the perfect remedy. The hotel facility is brand new and so they are doing their best to make a great first impression on the world... in my estimation, they have succeeded. The staff was amazing and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. In a bid to help my leg... I visited the Spa every day for a massage. Mary the therapist was knowledgable, helpful and really knew what she was doing. This is NOT one of those exclusive, high priced resorts, in fact it is on an island where local Maldivians live. This adds to the quaint nature of the place and alows you to get a sense of what the REAL Maldives are all about! I highly recommend giving this place a look!

It is a very nice and welcoming hotel, where the staff and management try to make sure that the guests are comfortable there and enjoy their experience.
We spent 11 days there, which was quite unusual for us, as we do not normally spent more than 5-6 nights in one place. We just needed a relaxing holiday, which it was, and we did not regret coming to this hotel.
Among all the hotels we have stayed in Maldives (including 4 hotels on local islands and one resort) it was the best hotel we have been to. It is a 5-floor building, with the fifth floor having a swimming pool on the roof with an amazing view from it. You can spend hours bathing in the pool and observing a scenery from the top.
The rooms are also very comfortable and clean. It is a proper 4-star hotel, with all its comfort.
The restaurant is very good as well: very good service and very tasty dishes.
The hotel is located just a few steps (through its territory) on the beach, but you might need to walk some other steps on the beach itself to get to the place where it is deep enough to swim.
The hotel organises nice (free) trips around the island and good trips to other destinations.
Overall, it was a good experience and a good value for money.
The sea view rooms have an amazing view (similar to the one you can see from the swimming pool) and are highly recommended.
Wifi was a bit problematic, however, on all four islands we stayed before in other parts of Maldives, it was always problematic. I guess it would be great if they could extend wifi to the rooms as well, not only to the lobby and restaurant. It would also be great if they extend the hours the swimming pool is working (at the moment it is until 6pm). But all these are very minor points and this hotel with its lovely staff and amazing view definitely deserves a 5-star rating.

Saw the property on social media and found it to be lovely and nearby so decided to have a relaxing break for a few days here. Send in a mail inquiring about the rates and facilities. The booking process was very smooth up until the payment was made, after which none of my mails were being replied to and I had to continuously call to get an answer.
I was informed previously that I will receive a call two days prior to departure to inform the departure times but since I didn’t receive any calls I called up myself to get this information. My call this time was attended by Mr. Nahid who at first informed that there was no booking under my name but when I forwarded the mails I had with me to him, he doubled checked and called back to assist. May I just say I am very glad to have contacted Mr. Nahid as he was more than glad to help and was of great assistance with whatever queries we had before and throughout our stay.
Our transfer to the island happened during the day and it was a lovely ride. The crew was very nice and took extra care in making sure the ride was smooth as I was pregnant when I traveled. The same on our transfer back to Male’ City which happened in the night.
Upon reaching the island, a buggy awaited us to take us to the hotel. 2 minutes ride. The island itself seems so empty. You can find souvenir shops and shops which sells everyday essentials. Also cafés and restaurants are there although you hardly see any locals around compared to other islands in Maldives.
The hotel itself was beautiful. New and well built. Lovely atmosphere with an airy lobby, open air restaurant area, Aveli restaurant and there’s a cute little koi fish pond at the entrance. Everything from the lifts to the corridors were clean and well-lit. Like said before, it was a very well built, beautiful property.
The check-in was smooth and handled by Ms. Joanna who was a lovely lady. I felt right at home with her hospitality. Once in the room we tried to order some food for in room dining but was informed that since lunch buffet was on-going, in room orders were not being taken at the moment. This happened again the next day when we tried to get some food we were informed that it wasn’t possible at the moment. I didn’t bother asking why though.
The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom amenities were perfect with all necessities. The safe in the room was useful. Although the website mentions bathrobe and slippers and iron in the room amenities, these were unavailable. The TV had about 5 to 6 channels with no local channels and the only channel we ended up watching was the Nat Geo Wild channel. No good sports or movie channels. Our view form the balcony was towards the island which was mainly tin roofs. You can request for a room with a better view.
We had the buffet at Aveli on the first night which was a very limited buffet. Same with breakfast the next morning. Food was tasty though. We had most of our meals form local restaurants within the island which was a better option as it was cheaper and offered a wider variety.
The biggest disappointment for us was the fact we were unable to get the massage we so looked forward to. During the very first email for query and booking time, it was clearly mentioned that we would like to take a couples massage. But it was only after we checked in and tried to make the payment for the massage that we were informed that the facility was having only one therapist at the moment therefore couples massage was not a possibility. We looked further in the spa menu the next day and decided to take a Swedish massage each separately which also was not possible as the therapist was on leave for the day. We tried again the third and last day to which the receptionist answer was that she could only make a booking for the next day. (At this point I didn’t even bother asking what the reason for that was either)
The best part of the hotel for me was the beautiful pool. The view from the top is beeeautiful. I could clearly see the dolphins dancing in the ocean and that was breathtaking. I enjoyed the pool each day I stayed. Although it would have been more perfect if the juice bar was open but it seemed to be closed on three days too.
The checkout was smooth too. The staff came out to say goodbye as we took off in the buggy.
It is very obvious that the hotel is very new and therefore has a long way still to go. I look forward to visiting back maybe after a few years. Wishing good luck for the future.
P.S. If staff could wear name tags it would be very helpful for the guests to interact with them.
Room Tip: request for a room with a seaside view as the island view is only tin roofs.

I am very satisfied with the service provided. The staffs were very friendly and helpful . The food was excellent and the room I stayed in was comfortable. I used the gym and the pool and found it to be well equipped even though the shower by the pool side is kind of broken. Anyway, I had a great time staying there and I would definitely stay there again given the chance.
During this holiday season, we traveled to this beautiful hotel with the whole family. The speedboat picked us from Malé and the buggies were waiting at Thulusdhoo jetty, to drop to us to the Hotel. The hotel services from A-Z is simply wow! It’s just a fantastic hotel! All the room amenities, food and everything are just as a resort in the Maldives. The swimming pool is great. Kids enjoyed the beautiful scenery and well maintained pool. We stayed in the hotel for 1 day and the kids and all of us enjoyed every single moment. The staff are well groomed and welcoming to every guest, regardless foreign or local. The hotel has a separate souvenir and items shop located within the premises and the prices are reasonable. I would like to suggest including more channels to the TV. And please provide wifi to the rooms, as now it’s ONLY for the reception area. Nowadays, wifi is a ‘basic’ necessity and therefore please provide to rooms as well. During the departure, the Manager came to say good-bye and everything was arranged perfectly. It’s simply an amazing masterpiece! We will surely comeback ;-)
Everything was going superb until the departure date, when we knew, our two days trip was shortened to one and a half days due to the hotels logistical arrangement. Total disappointment. Although we are locals, doesn't mean we don't value our holiday...
I stayed there early november, no local touch or feeling, the beach in front is not cleaned, Thanks to Daria and Imran for the help and over all the staff are nice.
there are better guesthouses on the island compare to this place,
This hotel is stunningly beautiful and a great place to spend your holiday. The lobby is so cozy and the restaurant is so vibrant especially during the night, thanks to the beautiful lights. The room is so spacious and the ocean view is wonderfully amazing. The best part of this hotel is the infinity pool on top of the building with a spectacular view of the ocean, dancing dolphins and water sports junkies. We have never enjoyed Maldives this much! Also, the staff - are so kind and great people, very accommodating and always wearing their smile. Thanks to all who took care of us during our stay - Mary, Joana, Janice, Anu (don't know if I spelled it right), Affu (for being so kind in lending his fins to us), Chef and to everyone (sorry to those I haven't mentioned).
I highly recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Maldives!

This brand new hotel has the only pool, fitness, massage spa, koi fish pond and elevator on the island. Plus fully equipped modern rooms and a good restaurant. It meets (and exceeds) Western standards. Some may wish to stop reading here (the rest is a full description, since this is one of the first reviews). For us, without any doubt, the absolute highlight of this hotel is the rooftop pool (see below).
After our extended stay at the nearby Samura guesthouse (see separate review) we still wanted a bit more time on this wonderful island Thulushdhoo. While scouting around for alternative accommodation, we accidentally met the hotel’s marketing manager on the beach. She was very welcoming and showed us around. We decided to give it a go. On check-in the next day we were warmly welcomed with a cool cinnamon drink and a cool towel. Interesting detail: the hotel has two mini-buses, golf cart style, so your transportation to and from the jetty is already in style, too.
THE HOTEL is on the north side of the island, right next to the nicest beach. With 5 floors (6 for USA) it is the highest building on the island, and with 48 rooms (all with balcony!) also the largest accommodation. The hotel will also have conference facilities soon. Everything here is brand new, modern, very clean and well-finished.
THE ROOMS are not large, but in mint condition and very well appointed. Remember that in the Maldives your room is the place where you sleep, because you will (and should) spend most time outside (and in the water). With a firm matrass and quite exceptionally soft linen, we slept like babies, further assisted by a quiet and efficient airco (with remote). Lighting in the room is good (an issue in some other places we visited), with also a bedside lamp on each side of the bed and a stylish desk light on the (wall-long) desk. There is enough space to put your bags, and there are two extra ‘rotan’ seats, which also can be used (with matching table) to enjoy your small but functional balcony. My guess is, however, that your drying swim gear/suits will spend more time on the balcony than you. The flat screen TV has 6 channels, including National Geographic and BBC News. Finally, there is a water cooker with cups (we had no tea, coffee or milk – and did not ask for it). The door lock is activated with a card, which you also need for power (you can ask for a second card).
THE BATHROOM is on the small side, but very well finished, with nice tiles. Shower (spacious and with a sliding door) on one side, toilet in the middle, and sink on the other side (enough room for your toiletries). Unfortunately our bathroom door opened the inconvenient way, but this is of course a detail. Water pressure is good (at least up to our 2nd floor), and the shower nice and warm. A complete set of amenities, well-lit large mirror and hairdryer complete the bathroom.
TIP: When choosing a room: the rooms on the north side are called “seaside” rooms, but on the lower floors “sea-glimpse” is more correct, because you will see just a little bit of blue between the palm trees (ours was on the 2nd, USA 3rd, floor). In fact, there is a sea view also on the south side rooms on the higher floors (over the roofs of the small town) because this is of course a small island surrounded by the ocean. The north rooms (i.e. so-called “sea-side”) should definitely heat up less during the day. The balconies on the 1st floor (US 2nd) are smaller than on the higher floors.
TIP: The rooms do not have WiFi, but again you are not here to spend time in your room. The WiFi in the lobby (comfortable seats) and restaurant works very well, and in fact that helps to make connection with other guests. The WiFi signal also extends a bit into the garden, but it was rather weak and inconsistent when I tried it. There is also a pre-WiFi installation on the pool deck, but I feel torn between my connectivity addiction and the desire to not disturb the special experience up there. So, fine with me as is; your teenagers may feel differently.
THE FOORTOP POOL on the 5th floor. Where to start? The view is simply amazing, and further enhanced by clever architecture. Indeed, the long side of the pool is “endless” and connects your view with the ocean around you, with matching colours. Both (!) have dolphins: very beautiful tile work on the pool bottom, and large pods of live (and lively) dolphins passing in the channel right in front of you almost every morning and evening. The rectangular pool itself is large enough for a good swim, with very nice unsalted water, and surrounded by 11 wooden sunbeds and 4 tables with chairs. The Pool or Juice Bar (opening planned around Christmas) longs the pool on the south side, and its roof provides for welcome quality shade during the hottest hours (while the pool remains in the sun). There are very clean toilets, a shower outdoors and one indoors, and a changing room. Finally, the massage spa (opening soon) is also here, as is the fitness with a view (top equipment: 2 electronic bikes, 2 treadmills, 1 Nordic trainer, 1 rowing machine, 1 complete workout machine and separate weights; so brand new that not all machines have been branched up yet).
This complete luxury pool deck set-up, when fully functional, has in my view everything to become the most exquisite hang-out on the island. For now, it is all about the view, sounds and feel. A light breeze of tropical air, the sound of waves and at times dolphins, motor boats and people all mix into that unique island vacation melody most of us travelled so far for. One could write a book about the view; just look at the photos and know that the reality is still so much more beautiful.
BREAKFAST is a buffet, and the best we experienced on the island. Cereal, fruit, pancakes, waffles, rolls, toast and also hot stuff: porridge, eggs (also made to order if you like), sausage, vegetables. You make your own (instant, for now) coffee or tea, and are kindly served water and juice at the table. We did not have dinner (see Canope Retreat review) but learned that the chef here also has worked in a big resort, so it should be really good (we did like what we saw on the buffet both evenings when we just came to have a peek; the prices seem at the high end for the island).
WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED: The area right in front of the hotel, both the garden and beach, is not yet up to the same level of standard as the hotel, which is quite disappointing: the garden has many trees providing shade but there is no pleasant seating: a few plastic chairs only, no sunbeds, and no hammocks either. The “beach” behind it is narrow, stony and –above all- a dump. Given the local culture of (still!) dumping all waste into the ocean, the only way to have a clean beach is a daily clean-up. Fortunately, this is done on most of the beach starting only 30 metres to the right, which is where you can spend your day. This part of the beach also gives you easy access to the nicely shielded swim area, and the snorkelling on both sides of the rock wall protecting the small bay. Both are great!
Last but not least: THE STAFF is consistently very nice. Do remember, however, that this is a new hotel and thus a new team. In many cases you will need to wait a bit for an answer, as the person you ask simply does not yet know. Routine has not yet set in for some aspects (e.g. the pool needs better and daily cleaning), but with the right attitude and management this team will deliver you a great experience, as it already did for us.
MY CONCLUSION: if you want to stay on Thulusdhoo in style and comfort, this is your place, especially if you appreciate a wonderful pool with unique Maldivian views.
We have been acommodated in Executive suite, it is looking exactly as on pictures , beautiful, clean, spacious with big jaccuzi to relax...Balcony with swing and furniture to sit evening and listen the sound of sea.
The best part on our trip to Thulusdhoo were people there, people and staff in hotel are incredibly friendly, helpfull, smiling and positive all the time.
Seems hotel has been opened recently, looking like totally new still .
Food on FB basis, buffet of many types of maldivian and international food for lunch and dinner, breakfast was with manz tzpes of sweet bread, croissants, cereals, egss, maldivian type of breakfast, juice, tea. Awesome !
This hotel is the only one with pool in the whole island and definitely worth it .
We stayed with our nearly two years old daughter and she loved the pool !
Near by hotel there is bikini beach which is very clean and much nicer reaf than Maafushi too. Some sunbed near by the beach for people too, pure sand no stones or coral pieces...
There is also near by shop (2min) with all the things u might forget or need to have, sun cream, cosmetics, baby nappies ,food,sweets,drinks..etc.
We went last day to local cafe/bistro for food before departure and its just same as every typical Maldivian cafe, cheap prices and local food..noodles,rice,curry..definitely worth to try.
Didnt have time to check if there is any other restaurant available in island because we were on FB basis anyway.
Regarding rooms : If you choose sea view, you will be facing palms anyway because they are very high and hotel has only 5 floors, and 5th floor is pool. But they keep the area down with palms clean and keeping the garden with some garden furniture for sitting and its fresh aif from sea there with sea view.
If you choose normal view, you will be facing side of the island, with some houses down, which are not higher than one floor so you will actually see roofs of many houses, there wont be any high building builded next to ur balcony so fresh air is coming there too.
Perfect place ! Definitely recommend it !
P.S I live in Male,Maldives. Already travelled many islands, resort, places. So have real comparison with other places...
A fantastic choice to stay in Maldives. Very confortable, clean and good service. We were almost 2 weeks very happy there. If you like surfing the hotel is very close to Chicken and Cokes surf points. For the fist one you can take a boat from de hotel for 10$ and to the second point you can go by walk.
First of all. Don't worry about the transportation.
A guy will be waiting for you in the airport.
He will be holding a singingboard with hotels name on it.
He will arrange the boat & everything will go very smoothly :)
The hotel is very clean & comforty. The staff & the locals are very friendly people :)
Hotels top floor pool, beach & ocean are awsome. You can take wonderful pictures :)
I realy likes the foods in hotel. Fresh & delicious.
Whatever you do; talk to reception about & don't miss the diving. You will not regret :)
