If you’re looking for active vacations discovering the wonders of Belize, Seakunga Adventures is the answer. They have all sort of activities for all kind of needs and interests. During this surf camp, on your first night, you will stay at a seaside hotel. The rest of your days will be spent in a camp.
You will arrive in Belize City, and then go through customs to Tropic Air. The flight will take about 30-40 minutes to Placencia. A Seakunga Adventures representative will be waiting for you, and will show you to your hotel. The afternoon will be yours to settle in and explore the seaside villages. Dinner will provide a great opportunity for you to get to know your fellow travelers and go over plans for the days ahead.
After having breakfast, you will head out to the cayes on a local powerboat. These 3 days will be spent snorkeling, kayaking, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, fishing, relaxing, stargazing, eating delicious meals, and just plain having fun in the sun. Your adventure will come complete with all equipment, tents, kitchen equipment, kayaks, support boats, and gear needed for your sports and activities.
During this surf camp, you will be taken to some cayes to enjoy your multi sport adventures.
During this surf camp, you will be taken first to Placencia and then to some cayes. The Placencia Peninsula has become the hot spot for adventure travel with comfort. Placencia is also known for its spectacular coral walls where the continental shelf drops off, and for having the closest route to the world famous Gladden Spit. Four months out of every year the giant Whale Sharks will congregate there. The number of cayes off the peninsula and three different marine reserves which are no-take zones make Placencia a diver’s and snorkeler’s paradise.
Belize possesses an unparalleled natural beauty, rich with animal and plant life. It also posses an unspoiled Caribbean coastline, lush rain forest, clear tropical waters, and coral reefs. Belizean waters are home to the second largest Barrier Reef in the world, first class diving, snorkeling, and some of the best sea kayaking you can find.
With over 200 cayes and close to half of Belizean land area under protection, the ethnically diverse people, sea, and jungle invite you to experience an unparalleled range of diversity, adventure, and culture. Belize’s giant natural aquarium with its myriad of species of hard and soft corals, sponges, and a rainbow of fish species, is a haven for snorkelers.
The meals served on your tours are foods from the local area. Meals can include various sea foods and fresh fruits. If you have a special requirement, you have to let Seakunga Adventures know and they will make sure your requirements are looked after.
