You will spend six nights at Maldives Seashine Guesthouse. The property has five modern and air-conditioned rooms, each with its own private bathroom, desk, and an extra fan. The private bathroom includes a shower and free toiletries. The rooms are cleaned daily. Toilet papers, towels, electricity adapters, and local mobile numbers with mobile phones are available.

Chickens makes for good surf at all stages of the tide and is unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up.
Colas (or Cokes) in North Male Atoll is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf. The surf tends to be best in the spring. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Groundswells are more frequent than windswells, and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. A reef breaks right. It very rarely gets crowded here, but rocks are a hazard.
Honkeys in North Male Atoll is an exposed reef break that has quite reliable surf. The surf tends to be optimum in the spring. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the south. This is a left hand reef break, surfable at all stages of the tide. It is sometimes crowded here, and you would need to be careful of urchins and rocks.
Jailbreaks in North Male Atoll is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. The surf tends to be best in the spring. Offshore winds blow from the south southwest. Groundswells are more frequent than windswells, and the best swell direction is from the south. There is a right hand reef break. It provides good surf at all stages of the tide, but it gets crowded sometimes. Watch out for rocks and dead coral.
Lohi’s in North Male Atoll is an exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf. Offshore winds blow from the north northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the south. This left hand reef break provides good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Be wary of rips, as they make surfing here dangerous.
Ninjas in North Male Atoll is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. The surf tends to be optimum in the spring. Ideal winds are from the north northwest. Groundswells are more common than windswells, and the best swell direction is from the south. There is a right breaking reef. When the surf is up, crowds are likely. Be careful of the dead coral.
Pasta Point in North Male Atoll is an exposed point break that has very consistent surf. The surf tends to be optimum in the spring. Offshore winds are from the north northwest. Groundswells are more common than windswells, and the ideal swell angle is from the south. Surfers ride left hand point. Pasta Point is surfable at all stages of the tide, but it gets crowded sometimes.
Sultans in North Male Atoll is an exposed reef break that has consistent surf. The surf tends to be favored in the spring. Ideal winds are from the north. It tends to receive distant groundswells, and the ideal swell direction is from the south. There is a right breaking reef. Good surf at all stages of the tide. This is a popular spot that can get crowded. Rocks are a hazard.

The camp will take place on Huraa Island, Kaafu Atoll, Northern Male, Maldives. With its warm and clear water surf perfection, the Maldives is a place that every surfer has to visit at least once.
Located just one hour by ferry from Male, Huraa is a charming, small island in the North Male Atoll that allows you to immerse yourself in a local Maldivian community. The island features a restaurant and a cafe, several small stores to buy food and drinks, soccer and cricket fields, a small local school, and access to The Four Seasons and Club Med Resorts.
Daily meals and drinks are included in the price of this surf camp. The chef will be happy to prepare to your liking any catches you bring home from your fishing trips.
Please note that the Maldives is an Islamic country and alcohol is prohibited on inhabited islands like Huraa. That includes evening hours in cafes, restaurants, and also in your accommodation.
You can also have a fish barbecue dinner for 25 USD per person, a lobster barbecue dinner for 40 USD per person, and an out picnic with a six-hour trip for 150 USD per couple.

Please book your flight to arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Sea Shine will pick you up from the airport.
The public ferry to Huraa leaves Male from jetty 2, 3, or 5 at 3:30 p.m. daily, except on Friday. The price is around 2 USD. The return ferry leaves Huraa every day at 8 a.m., also except on Friday. Each journy lasts one hour and ten minutes.
The ferry name is Dhiraasa 02 (Huraa ferry). This boat is a direct journey to or from Huraa Island only. It does not stop at other islands.
If you prefer to take the speed boat charter instead, your journey time is reduced to 30 minutes and departure times are flexible and at the customer's discretion. However, the price per trip (not per person) is 160 USD. So, if you are one person, the price is 160 USD, if you are 12 people, it is 14 USD each, and so on. There is a maximum of 12 seats available.
You can also travel by the small boat charter, with a maximum seat capacity of two to four persons. Journey time is 40 minutes, departure times are flexible and at the customer's discretion. The price is 80 USD for the whole boat trip, not per person. If you travel alone, the price is 80 USD, if you are two people, you pay 40 USD each, etc.
Please be advised that that there is no shade from the sun on the small charter boat, and it cannot travel in bad weather conditions.
