Surf Hostel was established in Palanga only 1.8 kilometers to the beach. They offer eight-bed mixed dorm for their guests. The hostel provides accommodation services for people who love freedom, new acquaintances, waves, and winds. This is the first surf-friendly hostel in the region, inhabited by the true surf spirit. Palanga is a seaside resort town in Western Lithuania, on the shore of the Baltic Sea. It is the busiest summer resort in Lithuania and has beaches of sand (18 kilometers long and up to 300 meters wide) and sand dunes. The wave type here is choppy water. If the wind blows from west or southwest, the waves are 1.5 meters - three meters are possible. Officially, Palanga has the status of a city municipality and includes Šventoji, Nemirseta, Būtingė, and other settlements, which are considered as part of the city of Palanga.

J. Basanavicius street is the main pedestrian avenue leading down to the famous Palanga bridge.
