    It's not a Surf Camp

CONS Cons: If you want to learn surf don't go. The material is bad and broken. There isn't enough material for everyone. The teacher doesn't gives you class. He/She goes to surf.

    PROS Pros: People

Dirty location, bad equipmet even worst instructors

CONS Cons: The place is 20 km far from the beach. The hostel/surf house is incredible dirty and in bad shape. The equipment we were given was broken or missing some parts, not to mention the wet suits that were not enough for all the people staying at the camp. Furthermore they only give you pasta to eat all the time. The vans they use to move you to the beach are in really bad shape and the drive as crazy down the mountain. But even worst, thinking the classes would at least be ok, they weren't. The camp doesn't have a permit to teach surf, so when the life guard came and told the instructors we had to stop and we were all pulled out of the water. On the following days they didn't gave us any lessons just the equipment and we had to do everything on our own since they couldn't get into the water...

PROS Pros: The party was the only good thing.

Organizer response: I'm sorry to hear that you felt that way. It was unfortunate that there was some confusion on the beach during your surf lesson. We have a permit to teach at the beach, however the surf instructors didn't carry paperwork on them to the lesson as they havn't needed to ever before. The issue was rectified within a day and we even ran another surf lesson to make sure everyone had adequate surf. We have been teaching surf lessons at Zarautz beach for the past 11 years. We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. We will take your criticism on board.

CONS Cons: There was a small issues with very dirty cars and another that we had payed 30€ for beer and sangria for three days, which I thought was not worth 10€. Also some other fixed activities like hiking or yoga with a specific time during the day would have kept us engaged in the routine just as the 10clock surf bell.

PROS Pros: The friendly nature, the feeling of not being treated as a customer but being part of a surfing gang and being able to share that first experience with other first timers who hot the waves. A wonderful experience and a marvelous memory to treasure
