    Julika Nölte

Julika Nölte's love of ocean, nature, and sports have led her, in 2015, to create SaltyWay. She was born and raised in Kiel, Germany, by the ocean, and has always had a longstanding relationship with the sea. In her late teens, Kiel became her base between extended trips to Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Morocco, and Europe. She began studying sports science in Kiel, teaching sport in Gran Canaria, and also surf for many years across Europe, that being the foundation for the awesome surf teacher she is today. Portugal has become her new home and where she enjoys life to the fullest.

    Masha

Masha is a yogi, rock climber, and nature lover based in Portugal. She teaches her unique and transformative classes and retreats across Europe and is part of the Sivananda yoga team in teacher training courses in France and India. Masha’s teaching offers a heart-opening, invigorating, and experiential practice, grounded with a focus on both physical and energetic alignment. Her own practice and therefore teaching encompasses asana, pranayama, relaxation, healthy diet, positive thinking, and meditation. She has been a student of yoga and meditation since 2007.

"Julika is a super teacher! Together with my children I surfed for 3 weeks with Julika some years ago, and we had a fantastic time both on and off the water! Julika is really good at seeing each and every person, and their needs, in a way that makes all participants feeling well taken care of. We still miss surfing and Julika!"

"it was one of the best holidays. I stayed with saltyway for two weeks. I made many new great friends and had an awesome time surfing and climbing. I really like the participatory style of the accomodation where you could cook and live together as flat mates. I am looking forward to come back next year!"

"Julika is a really good teacher! I felt always secure with her and spent two weeks in her camp in Portugal this year! Moreover, Julika made sure that you are having a good time by offering other activities you can do such as horse riding, massages, climbing, and others. Will be back in 2016!"

Surf on!"
