Miki created Salty Chicas to connect like-minded women on the island, sharing the passion for the ocean and inspiring new girls to join in living the surfing dream. From the start, her vision was to build a community where women could come together to ride the waves, form lasting friendships, and create and share these moments together. Miki believes in the power of surfing, the joy of shared experiences, and the strength of a welcoming community. Their mission at Salty Chicas Surf Retreat is to create a welcoming space where women can enjoy the thrill of surfing.

Vicky Perez is a licensed surf instructor with over a decade of experience. Growing up by the ocean in Argentina, she quickly fell in love with surfing and has since dedicated her life to sharing that love with others. Passionate about the ocean, she loves helping students of all levels catch waves and improve their skills. Known for her friendly and encouraging approach, Vicky ensures every lesson is fun and effective. She's also a dedicated ocean conservation advocate, inspiring others to appreciate and protect the sea.

Lara is a passionate yogi, dancer, and dedicated student of Vedanta, Vedic traditions, and tantra. Her journey into yoga and meditation began eight years ago, driven by a deep quest for Moksha (freedom). This pursuit led her to leave her life in Italy and move to the magical Fuerteventura. After completing her Yoga Teacher Training in Traditional Yoga, Lara recognized that this was only the start of her lifelong commitment to learning and self-discovery. Over the past year, she has devoted herself entirely to deepening her practice and studies. We are grateful to have Lara in a team!
