The hostel is the perfect place to relax after a long day, where you can rest in a small paradise. At Sagres Sun Stay, you will find a set of newly built facilities, with a clean-looking finishing, designed for your maximum comfort. Utilities include a wide T-shaped salted water pool; an area of fitness machines; surfboard and wet suit areas, a bar that serves delicious dishes on demand as well as varied and healthy breakfast options, Wi-Fi all around, and reception service. If you are looking for a sports adventure we can schedule surfing and windsurfing classes for all levels.

The twin rooms, with a pool view, are perfect for couples or friends who want their privacy and maximum comfort. With heated floors, en suite bathroom, flat screen TV, terrace and view over our swimming pool, the rooms are made to offer pure relaxation and peacefulness.

Sagres Sun Stay has also 3 types of dorm rooms: for 6, 8, and 12 people. Delicately decorated to bring up the feel of summer and surf vibes, while ensuring your privacy and security, with each bed having curtains, and lockers. Free bed linen is provided, including duvets and pillows. The two big communal bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer and shower gel. The communal kitchen is fully equipped and open to guests.

Because Sagres Sun Stay is eco-friendly, every guest that buys at least one night in our dormitories has a shower per day included on the rate. Additional shower time will have an additional cost.

Program

This five-day beginner surfing program was elaborated through a methodology of progression and pedagogy. Contents may undergo changes, according to the forecast and to the students' performance. From Monday to Friday, there will be two lessons a day, lasting one hour 30 minutes each. All classes are constituted by theoretical and practical components. Each class always starts with theory and then practice.

Please book your flight to arrive at Faro Airport (FAO).

Arrival by train (from Lisbon Portela Airport)

Take the metro's red line and get out at São Sebastião's station. Go to the blue line (direction Reboleira) and get out at Jardim Zoológico's station. Walk to the Central Bus Station and get the bus to Sagres. You can check the timetable at Rede Expresso's website.

Arrival by bus

Take the bus 14 or 16 to Faro Bus Terminal. From here, take the bus to Lagos Bus Terminal and then the bus to Sagres. There is a bus stop close to the hostel and you can check the timetable for buses from Lagos to Sagres at Eva's website.

Arrival by shuttle

You can always take a private shuttle (you can book directly with Sagres Sun Stay) or make a car rental.
