Moreover, Portugal is blessed with great swells during most of the year but the best swells come in late winter to early spring. This country has 700-kilometer open beach breaks, reef breaks, and gorgeous bays. The whole coast is rich in surfing spots in which some of them are very well-known while some unknown ones are equally good or even better. They are less crowded with perfect waves and mostly, not far away.
