"Sarah and her crew at Ride On Retreats, Perranporth Cornwall were fantastic at every level. Starting from the very moment she personally collected us — weary Londoners with high stress jobs — we knew we were in for a treat. As we approached the friendly B&B (Cedar Cove, also excellent) atop a steep hill overlooking Perranporth beach, all the city worries started to melt away. We were given friendship bracelets as a welcome, devon creme + chocolate truffles and big wide smiles. This was a Yoga / surf retreat (though neither of us surfed, so we swapped this for horse riding on the beach - Reem Stables, terrific - horses well looked after, with smart and careful guides). The Yoga (mainly a cross between Ashtanga and Vinyasa was taught by Jane Forster - inspiring, humble and extremely hardcore Yoga - had us sweating and relaxing in turns, with headstands, dancer poses and of course, warrior, crow, downward/upward dog, serpent, cobra. We walked along the coastline (several kilometres), ate fresh, organic dishes (mainly seafood and fish). All in all - a terrific experience, definitely to be repeated at the earliest point possible! A big thanks to Yoga Retreats for its umbrella organisation - we would not have found this retreat without you! "

"I had a fantastic time. The chalet was wonderfully situated and our hosts were superb. The entire organization was impeccable and the yoga teacher was really brilliant in the way she taught the yoga over the time of the retreat."

"Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and it was lovely to meet you all. We both had a great time and we were so well looked after. I forgot how much I love surfing and really want to keep practising and improving. The yoga was also great and while I dip in and out of yoga after the weekend I am trying to practice on a daily basis now, Ill be standing on my head before you know it!"

"We are very eager to come again in September just need to work on dates but thank you for the info, I think we could both try our hand at ping pong. The snowboarding dates would also be great when you have them. I think having done this retreat now if there was a time where my partner in crime (Dianne) could not come I would feel confident coming alone as I know I will be looked after. I absolutely echo Dianne you were defiantly the hostess with the mostest."

"We both loved the retreat and found it far more revealing about ourselves and full-on than we expected, I think. But in a good way ;-). You in particular made the weekend you have a such a lovely, easy manner and were attentive to our needs without ever being intrusive, so keep it up! (Should you ever have children youll understand what bliss it is to be waited on at breakfast particularly ;-)) The yoga was great (Ive never been boarding before and not had to slather myself in nurofen gel at the end of the say so Emma must have been doing something right!!)"

"I had a lovely time, but let me break it down for you :"

    " "

"Upfront communication: I found you handled it very well and the letter you sent about arrival and agenda for the weekend was perfect and very complete."

    " "

"Transfer: I really liked the fact that plane arrivals were all around the same time. My arriving a little earlier gave me time to get over the plane trip and have a nice hot chocolate! The trip out was good and the traffic didnt bother me. In fact it gave me the time to get to know you and some of the other participants a little better."

    " "

"Chalet: Mark and Ros were amazing hosts. The food and wine were great and they were both very talkative and made me feel at home right away. The accommodation was really top and so was the hot tub. The T-shirt was a great touch, as was the name on the door!"

    " "

"Yoga: Emma was a great teacher. I was worried it would be hard to follow and too fast, but she took her time and slowly built it up into harder postures. She is also a great personality and I really enjoyed it that she came along on the skiing. I thought that was a nice touch."

    " "

"Skiing: Despite the varying levels, I think it worked well. I did tend to spend a fair bit of time waiting for the others to catch up, but in the end it didnt bother me as it allowed me to catch my breath and think about what I had just done and what I wanted to tweak. I would have liked a bit more off-piste but I think the conditions were to blame on the Saturday."

    " "

"Departure: Perfect again and not at all rushed."

    " "

"So overall top marks for this retreat!! The group was great as well.Review by Tanya from France:I had an absolutely fantastic time, it was just what I needed. Really busy so very little time to miss home, really active so I felt tired but in the best way, and lovely people to connect with. You have a brilliant concept and you are a hugely warm and welcoming host. Thank you so much for a really great weekend, I will definitely be recommending you and hope to come to another one of your retreats soon."

"I have been going on holidays organized by Sarah for the past 5 years, they are so much fun. I am a keen skier but with Sarahs encouragement I also tried snowboarding on some of the trips too. This area of Austria really is a hidden gem, aside from our group, we didn't hear another English person all week."

"These holidays are legendary, the people are great, fun, and everyone gets on really well. I have made many new friends over the years from these trips. The aprs ski drinks in the small mountain huts here are arguably the best in Europe, you will have a great time!"

"Sarah taught me to snowboard 12 years ago in New Zealand, I have joined her group holidays ever since. She has a patient and enthusiastic approach and will take excellent care of you both on and off the slopes. I will be joining a snowboard and yoga retreat this season."
