New Zealand has two main islands - North Island and South Island - which are very different in landscape and climate. Your adventure tour will give you the opportunity to explore both. The North Island is where the major cities are - the capital Wellington and Auckland - ‘the city of sails’. It’s mainly volcanic in origin with lots of seismic features such as geysers and hot springs. The country has a landmass a little larger than the UK with a population of some four million. With 10 sheep to every person it's no surprise their major export is lamb! Despite the huge number of visitors travelling there every year, it’s never crowded.

We recommend that you arrange your flight to arrive into Auckland airport (AKL) or Hamilton Airport (HLZ) as these are the closest to Raglan Town. You will be required to make your own way to the surf lodge.
Catch the Intercity bus to Hamilton and then get the Busit Route 23 connection bus to Raglan. You will be picked up from outside the library.
If you travel with Stray bus, your bus will pull right into the surf camp. Raglan will be one of your stops, so you can jump off the Stray bus, do your surf & stay and then jump back on once you have finished and continue your trip with Stray.
