We are located on the Bukit Peninsula, a paradise of gorgeous sandy beaches and spectacular temples. The home break with world-class waves is just 25 minutes away from the camp. This Bali surf camp is built into the cliffside and the villa features a delightful mix of Western and Javanese architecture. Of course, you can choose to stay in our shared dorms or treat yourself to a private suite. Relax on the terrace equipped with sofas and loungers and enjoy the perfect after-surf chill session. Likewise, take a dip in the infinity pool - the jewel of this location, overlooking both the rainforest and the Indian ocean.

- Check-in at Rapture Surf Camp surf camp in Bali is until 22:00.
- If you arrive after this hour, Rapture Surf Camp has a pick-up service from the airport, so their driver can show you to your room.
- If you arrive by yourself after 22:00, the security guard can show you your room too.
Location
Bali represents a popular surfing destination for pros and beginners alike. It also offers the best variety of waves from reef to sandy beach breaks 365 days a year. You can make our camp the vantage point for your surf adventures. Famous surf spots like Uluwatu, Balangan and more are easily accessible from camp.
Moreover, Rapture Surf Camp offers surf lessons for beginners as well as guiding for intermediate surfers. Their surf school is staffed by qualified and experienced surf instructors and if you feel like some post-surf relaxation, you can participate in yoga sessions held daily or book yourself a massage.
Bali is world-famous for having some of the best surf beaches and reefs on the planet. Located in the south of the Bukit peninsula, Rapture Surfcamps in Green Bowl is a stone throw away from Uluwatu, Padang Padang, Dreamland and Bingin and a central hub for various other surf spots in the area reachable within 30 minutes from the camp.
Some of these green bowl surf breaks are more suited for experienced surfers. However, there are plenty of other easier beach breaks nearby for newbies. Padang Padang Right, Mushroom Rock, and Jimbaran are just a few perfect beginner surf spots. You can Green Bowl surf in Bali all year round. Even with the dry season (which gets the biggest swells), between April and September and the rainy season from October until March.
Their home beach, Green Bowl, is only 150m away from the camp. It’s a 30m coastal strip with white sand, connected to the village on the clifftop above by steep steps. Getting down to the beach can be physically challenging because you have to climb or descend approximately 300 steps but if you see it as a warm-up for your upcoming surf on an uncrowded beach, it is well worth it.
The surf here is fast with a hollow right and Green Bowl is considered an intermediate to advanced spot. Green Bowl is a hidden gem because of its secludedness and the two large limestone caves that enclose small rock shrines. These caves provide shade and shelter for everyone visiting the beach.

Rapture Surf Camp offers daily breakfast and dinners from Tuesdays to Saturdays. They cook typical Balinese dishes during the week. Over the weekend, they usually have Balinese food with a western twist!

Driving direction
- Come out of the airport and travel along Jalan Ngurah Rai.
- At the first roundabout turn right to Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai until the traffic lights, there should be a McDonalds on your right.
- Turn right to Jalan Raya Kampus Unud, follow the road until you can turn left on to Jalan Pura Batu Pageh.
- Follow this road to Greenbowl Beach (Pendawa), before you arrive at the beach follow the road as it curves left, stay on this road for approximately 500 meters.
- As you drive along the road you should see a sign that says ‘Vivo Villas’, Jalan Karang Pandawa.
- Turn right here and follow the road to the bottom, make a right and then a left at the end of the road and follow the road as it continues.
- You will see another ‘Vivo Villas’ sign on your right, turn right up to a small hill and Rapture Surf Camp is the large building straight ahead.
