"Amazing surf camp in Bali"

Great vibes and really great staff that look after you extremely well!

The camp staff take care of everything for you, travel to the surf spots, guiding, safety awareness of the surf spot (currents are strong in places).

Food and accommodation were great, I stayed in a private room called Fun Board which gave me the chance to do some remote work during periods away from the surfing.

Only minor niggle was the location of the camp in relation to the surf spots and busier area. It is about a 25 min drive to the bars, cafes and shops on the west side of the island, so a scooter is essential if you want to explore that. The great thing is, that the camp staff will organise the scooter for you!

Absolutely loved all of my time with Rapture and would for sure come back!

"Good place to improve your surfing "

The management is really helpful and trying to make your stay as best as possible (if you reach out to them of course!). Every second day there was some surfing related activity (for example, review of videos of us surfing with the instructors which was very interesting and helpful).

The camp is good located and the rooms and facilities are great! The sunsets are gorgeous, the swimming pool is lovely, the smoothies are super delicious. The place is also feels very safe. In addition, you are being driven to a new beach almost every day, what is super cool!

Also enjoyed the yoga here+Met cool people🙂

"Great choice in Maderas"

The hostel is lovely with a great pool and yoga deck. It's a 10-15 min walk to and from the beach. Be aware there is a hill to climb but those are pretty unavoidable in this area. Once you climb up the hill you just jump in the pool to cool down. Or if you plan ahead, rent a moto or atv. You don't have to but could be worth it after a long day of surfing. Also might be nice if you want to go to SJDS and don't want to wait on the shuttle. The lessons are provided by a local surf school and Juan Carlos and Eric are great! The family who runs the hostel are lovely and very accommodating. Highly recommend this experience. It's pretty free flowing and not on any kind of schedule except for the tide times. Meals are served at the times given and they are delicious!

"Amazing experience, great value for money!"

Rapture was amazing, avellanas beach is a lovely beach with great waves which isn’t too crowded or full of tourists. Rapture is located a 15 min walk away and its still a 30 min car drive from Tamarindo if you need to get anything or like to have a few drinks in the evening. The camp vibe is great, the staff is friendly, the food is lovely and you get so many breakfast options, plus everyone has dinner together so its a lovely family vibe. The surf instructors are great professionals and you legitimately see progress each time you take a class. The facilities themselves are also very clean, the pool is such a nice feature and in general I really couldn’t have asked for better. The yoga lessons are available to everyone almost every day so that’s also a great plus!
