Come and experience the fun surfing on Fuerteventura, Spain! This island awaits you with fantastic waves, warm water, plenty of sun, endless sandy beaches, and dreamlike reef. Fuerteventura doubtlessly is one of the best surfing destinations in Europe. Rapa Nui Surfschool would like to share their way of living on surfing with you. Here, you can meet like-minded people from all over Europe to surf together!

You will stay at Rapa Nui Surfschool's surf camp for 2 nights. You can choose to stay at Bahia Calma Bungalows or Casa Catalina Apartments. If you want to kill the boredom, you can enjoy free skate and volleyball in the surf camp.

Bahia Calma bungalows

If you want to stay in triple rooms, then you will be accommodated at Bahia Calma Bungalows. The bungalows are situated in a lovely resort at one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Canary Islands in Costa Calma. You will wake up and start the day with the sound of the ocean. You will find the Boardriders Bar and Shop nearby, which is the meeting point and center for all surfers.

The bungalows are next to each other, so you can plan the-after-surf-course-activities with other camp guests, if you like. All bungalows contain a bedroom, living room with integrated kitchen, bathroom, and terrace or balcony. The room amenities comprises a TV, microwave, oven, toaster, and coffee machine. Bed linen and towels are included as well and are cleaned regularly.

Casa Catalina apartments

If you want to stay in single or double rooms, then you will be accommodated at Casa Catalina Apartments. The Casa Catalina Apartments are located in the same resort as Bahia Calma Bungalows. Each apartment can accommodate up to 2 people and consists a bedroom, living room with kitchenette, and balcony or terrace. Of course, the kitchen is also fully equipped for self cooking.

Program

The surf courses are run professionally and will be divided according to the surfing level of the students. Everyone will get the support and help based on what they needs. All courses comprise a maximum group of 6 - 8 students per instructor and a total of 3 - 4 hours of surfing time at the best spot of the day. With a lot of practice time and exciting theory, you will learn how to surf whitewater waves in knee-deep water.

The surf instructors will start the daily courses with 4 x 4 jeeps and vans to the best surf spot of the island. The surf courses start daily, so you can join in on any day you like best. Additionally, video analysis will be offered as well as your personal surfing video filmed by a GoPro camera that is mounted on your board. The complete equipment, insurance, and shuttle services from the camp to the surf spot of the day are also included.

Location

The surf camp is situated at the narrowest part of the island in Costa Calma in Fuerteventura Island, directly at one of the longest and most beautiful beaches of the Canary Islands. Fuerteventura is the second largest of all Canary Islands. The mostly volcanic islands impresses with unique wildlife and fantastic landscape, which awaits to be discovered by you. Fuerteventura is well known for its over 500 beaches and 1,500 kilometers of coastal line.

The island offers a huge variety of surf breaks (beaches, points, and reef breaks) with any type of imaginable wave with easy spilling waves up to crazy barrels. The mostly unknown surf spots lure with emptiness and perfection. An experienced guide will accompany you and choose the right spot according to your skills. Nightlife and countless shopping opportunities, as well as restaurants and bars are within a stone's throw of the camp.

Food

Restaurants, supermarkets, and other bars are close by. The bungalows and apartments are only available with self-catering, but breakfast and snacks (tapas, pizza, cake) are waiting for you in the Boardriders Bar, rounded up with amazing sea view of the Atlantic Ocean.

After the surf course, the big terrace of the Boardriders Bar and Shop is luring for a chill-out time, and freshly made tapas or colorful tasty cocktails will help you charging up your batteries again. In the evening, cool music, crazy bar stuff, and like-minded people will put you in the right mood to explore the nearby night and dance clubs. You can enjoy the meals at an extra cost.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 2 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 7 days before arrival.
