You will stay in Puri Asu Resort. Puri Asu Resort has a private 40 meters long pier on the beach, straight into the water, directly in front of your bungalow where you can start your paradisiacal Indian Ocean experience. The resort has a surf view private gazebo, a fitness and yoga gazebo, and a beachfront yoga gazebo that offers a unique sunrise.
You will have three options of the room to choose from. There is a superior bedroom with one king bed in a bungalow, a Beach Cottage with three beds, and a standard room with two single beds, and a shared bathroom in the resort. All rooms in the resort have air conditioning units and western standard bathroom with hot water showers.

Our original building, this large wooden house was built by hand in South Sumatra and brought in pieces to Asu Island. The house has:

Beachfront Cottage
Perfect for families or friends travelling together. This is a standalone cottage with one queen bed and two single beds with private bathroom. Fully air-conditioned with sitting room.
Program
You will arrive at Kualanamu International Airport (KNO) in Medan, Sumatra. Medan is reachable from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bali, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manilla, and other major Asian capitals. Puri Asu Resort's representative will pick you up at the airport and take you to a 3 - 4 star hotel close to the airport for the night.
In the morning around 06:00, you will fly for 50 minutes to Nias Island Gunung Sitoli and you will arrive at Binaka Airport (GNS). The driver will pick you up at the airport and drive across Nias Island in two hours of beautiful tropical scenery to Sirombu Harbor. Then the speedboat will take you from the harbor to Asu Island in 30 minutes.
During this camp, you will be transferred to the surf spot by a boat each day. You can try a tow-in surfing with the use of the jet ski. Also, you have an opportunity to experience other activities, such as snorkeling, light tackle fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, and scuba diving. This camp is family-friendly and suitable for the children.
The Hinako’s Islands are one of the most consistent surf destinations in the entire world. Its broad exposure to the southern Indian Ocean provides these islands with consistency and high-quality waves all year long. When Asu is good our boat will take you from your bed to the peak in five minutes any time of day you like. There are five waves in our area, with a distance of 5 to 50 minutes by speedboat. The goal is to get you the most and the best waves of your life.

Asu
Left-hand wave that works on all tides, big and small swells, and south wind conditions. From 2-6 feet, it is a perfect and fun wave peeling over coral reef with barrels and a variety of conditions. Asu can handle up to 10-foot waves and still maintain a good shape.
Location
This camp will take place on Asu Island, Indonesia. Asu Island is one of the eight islands in the Hinako Archipelago, in Nias, North Sumatra, Indonesia. It's located in a very remote area, 15 kilometers from the port and the Sirombo village, on the west side of Nias Island. There are no roads and no electricity on Asu. The local population there is just about 70 people. Asu Island is the most consistent waves region in Indonesia and the waves are suitable for all-level surfing.

Each day the resort’s chef prepares a variety of food and as often as possible, uses seafood caught by local fishermen and the guests. For breakfasts, all guests order individually from a wide selection of breakfast choices. Desserts are served after dinner for all guests and they are all homemade. Beer and mixed drinks are available for a standard fee. The chefs can accommodate any dietary requirements or eating preferences, so please let Puri Asu Resort know in advance of your visit so they can prepare for you.

Please book your flight to arrive at Binaka Airport (GNS). Transfer from the airport is available for an additional cost of 150 USD. There are two routes to arrive in Nias Island. 1. Garuda Airlines flies direct from Jakarta without stopping in Medan
Jakarta-Nias 6:30 a.m. and Nias-Jakarta 1 p.m. Arrive at Medan International Airport (KNO) Sumatra. Medan is reachable from Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manilla, and other major Asian capitals.
If arriving in Medan before 13:00 guests can catch Wings/Lion Air flight to Nias at 14:30. If arriving in Medan after 13:00. The agent will pick up guests at the airport and take them to a three to a four-star hotel close to the airport for the night. Reservation and fees directly with the agent or guest can arrange on their own.
The following morning around 6 a.m., guests fly 50 minutes to Nias Island Gunungsitoli, Bianka (GNS). The driver picks guests up at Nias airport and drives across Nias Island (2 hours of beautiful tropical scenery) to Sirombu Harbor. The speedboat takes guests from the harbor to Asu Island in 30 minutes.
Land and sea transfers-NIAS-ASU-NIAS is 150 USD round trip per person. From Binaka Airport Nias (GNS) to Sirombu Harbor then Asu Island and back to Airport (GNS). Arrival/Departure in Medan and transfer to and from Nias Island are to be done directly by the official appointed Travel Company in Medan; Boraspati Express Tour and Travel.
