Selina is a new-built hostel just 50 meters away from Playa Santa Teresa. The hostel is beautifully decorated, has a nice swimming pool area, and a billiards table. It is located just by the main road with stores, bars, and restaurants walking distance away.
During this retreat, you can stay in a shared dorm, private room with shared bathroom, or private room with private bathroom. All rooms at Selina have air-conditioning and good Wi-Fi connection. The size of the dorm you will be placed in depends on availability.
The schedule during this retreat is flexible. One can decide to do yoga in the morning and surfing in the afternoon, or vice versa. It is also possible to do yoga and surfing head to head in the morning, and have the afternoon off.
You will normally surf at 7 a.m., 9:30 a.m., or 3:45 p.m, surf lessons will be scheduled according to ocean conditions. The yoga schedules vary depending on the yoga studio. Throughout the retreat, you will enjoy eight surf lessons and nine yoga classes. The yoga classes are held at different yoga studios in Santa Teresa to provide you many different yoga styles and various hours to practice it. You will build strength, increase flexibility, and energy levels, bend, twist, breathe, and release tensions in yoga to become a better surfer.

This retreat and surf camp will take place in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Santa Teresa is a beautiful beach town that many people return to. This is a perfect place to connect with nature and also with yourself. Despite being a small town, it is still for everyone. Whether you want to come here for surfing, yoga, with your partner, family, or friends, Santa Teresa is the destination. It is a friendly place with a mix of Ticos and internationals.
Santa Teresa is located in the southern part of the Nicoya Peninsula. With its many and long beaches, it is an ideal place for those who love surfing or want to learn to surf. Santa Teresa also has many different yoga studios, as well as activities, in its biodiverse and beautiful nature. Some of the activities that one can do include horseback riding, zip lining, ATV tours, visit national parks, and fishing, just to name a few.
A daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served during this retreat. Food will be served from the restaurant at Selinas. Enjoy their breakfast buffet in the morning and eat from their menu at lunch and dinner. Fruits and water will be provided with each surf lesson.
When you book your flight to Santa Teresa you will first land at Tambor Airport (TMU) and then take a shuttle to Santa Teresa (the shuttle takes about 45 minutes). The land transportation fee is included in the airfare. Nature Air operates flights from San José to Tambor / Santa Teresa.

There is a direct bus from San José to Santa Teresa leaving daily from "Terminal 7-10" at 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. The ferry ticket is included in the price and you do not have to change buses when you get on or get off the ferry. However, you might have to change buses in Cóbano, which is an hour drive after the ferry. Normally, the bus driver tells you to change bus, but if you are unsure, just ask the driver.
Shuttles leaves daily from San José to Santa Teresa. If you stay overnight in San José, the hotel is normally able to help you arrange the transportation. You can also contact your hosts ahead of time and they will help you.
