SUP, which stands for “stand-up paddle” is becoming the world’s fastest growing water sport. Not only is SUP an excellent stand-alone exercise, providing a low-impact workout that builds core strength, but it also offers an opportunity to experience the great outdoors surrounded by beautiful water and the positive energy of all the elements. Also, it offers the perfect blend of spirit, body, and nature. In a SUP Yoga class, you swap your mat for a board and a sweaty studio for glassy seas.
World of Waves is an exceptional beachfront surf house in the vibrant Taghazout village. The villa is designed in a boutique feel with a restaurant that serves great and healthy food.
This SUP Yoga teacher training will offer 25 hours CEU from Yoga Alliance and demonstrate your competence in handling a class of this nature to your prospective students. The course is formulated to provide you with complete confidence in teaching a SUP yoga class and running a SUP yoga business.
While such a unique practice often intrigues yoga instructors, many feel overwhelmed with the practical considerations of smoothly running a class in the unpredictable outdoor setting. This course explores all these concerns in a warm and supportive environment and leaves students fully equipped and confident to call themselves SUP yoga instructors. During the two-day course, you will cover all theory and practice related to SUP yoga and get the opportunity to teach a segment of a SUP yoga class in a live class environment on the board.
The laidback fishing village of Taghazout is six kilometers from Tamraght. Taghazout, once famous for calamari and hippies, is now considered Morocco’s premier surfing destination for both pros and learners. Surf breaks such as Hash Point, Panorama, Anchor Point, La Source, Killer Point, and Mysteries surround the village. The surf is most reliable from October to April.
A hammam treatment is available for an extra fee. A visit to a Moroccan hammam or bathhouse is a wonderful experience and one of the best ways to connect with Moroccans. Hammams have played a significant part in Moroccan culture for centuries. A traditional steam room, loosely translated as “spreader of warmth,” is used by Moroccans at least once a week for a ritual-based body treatment that involves steaming, scrubbing, and massaging of the skin until it glows.
