Designed for those taking their first steps in the kitesurfing world, this course has been carefully studied to make you learn this spectacular and incredible sport in the most efficient, safe, and fun way. You will start with a theoretical and practical part on the beach to continue with the lessons in the water starting from the shore or going out with the private boat. No crowding, no obstacle, and a much faster and more secure progression.
The thrill of flying a kite for the first time is not forgotten. Learn to feel the wind, use it to fly a two-line kite in total safety, and then is the time to fly a real 4-line kite. Learn how to move the sail in the different areas of the wind window and learn how to walk and move easily on the beach managing the kite with one hand while in the other you carry your board. After learning how to control the flight of your kite, you are finally ready to enter in the ocean. Controlling the kite in a dynamic context like the ocean is another story! Be at one with your kite and use its power to move in the sea in all directions, learning the body drag tecnique. Start putting the board on your feet and find the balance of your body to perform the first water start, the starting maneuver that will get you to make the first ride. Progressively, you will begin to feel more and more confident in the ocean, you will master your waterstart, and you will start to make longer distances on the board.
Point Break Watersport Center teaches by following the IKO standards and teaching program and this is what they will teach you progressively:
Each lesson will last 3 hours, both the start time of the lesson and the place where the lesson will be held will be decided on the basis of the conditions of the day (tide, direction of the swell, wind direction) with the aim of being on the best spot of the day and at the best moment.
The lessons in the water will be carried out, depending on the conditions, either starting from the beach or going out in the open sea with our boat.
All necessary equipment is included in the price as well as transportation to reach the spot and insurance and the groups will consist of a maximum of 3 students per instructor.
All our instructors are certified IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization), the most prestigious kite organization in the world.
