You will be accommodated at The Planet Surf Camp in Corralejo, very close to both the beach and the city center. The surf house is the central point of meeting and activities that you will have during the camp. You will be staying in shared rooms with other two, three, or four persons. The bathroom, kitchen, and day room of the house are on a shared basis. There is also a TV, a grill, a kicker, and just enough space for you to relax after a day of surfing

    Your surf packages includes 20 hours of surf classes, held by the instructors from Monday to Friday. The classes will be held in smaller groups of maximum eight students. Planet Surf Camps advises all the students to take rest two days during weekends, before starting a new week of five-day surfing lessons, so that the body can recover its strength and you take full advantage of the lessons you took during the previous week, having at the same time the opportunity to explore the surroundings and be amazed by the landscape of beautiful Fuerteventura island.

    Beginners classes

    For the beginners's course, the main aim in the first classes will be to get you stand on the board and enjoy while you are there. For that, the surf instructors have developed special techniques of teaching and your surf classes will incorporate also some essential theoretical information about the way waves are formed, about currents, but also about the surf material.

    Intermediate classes

    The intermediate course is designed for surfers who are already familiar with the basics of surfing. For this level, the main goal of the classes is to get you to paddle trough the waves and also start surfing them; maybe even get to do your first turns in the waves. Emphasis will be put on correcting your posture and movements so that you will be able to improve.

    Advanced classes

    The advanced surf classes are dedicated to surfers who are already able to surf one-meter or one and a half-meter waves. For those, the surf classes are meant to refine their style and improve their moves.

    • Joe

      Joe is the handy man of the team and also a talented surfer, who is part of the German national team. He will mesmerize you with his amazing surf stories and will gladly join you in your learning adventure during the surfing camps.

    • Masha

      Masha is the newly added member of the team, she is a traveler and a passionate searcher of the perfect wave, who has also great teaching skills.

    • Coco

      Coco is from Barcelona, a place with not so much opportunities for great surfing. He gained proficiency in his surfing skills by travelling the world in search of the perfect wave and by day by day practice in the Canary Islands.

    • Alejandro

      Alejandro is from Cadiz in the south of Spain. He is deeply in love with the beach and the ocean. Not only he is a great surfer and instructor, but also a person attached to friendship and family values. He is very fond of his dogs and loves meeting new people from all the corners of the world. Alejandro will inspire anyone who meets him with the passion he puts into his work.

    • Chris

      Chris the Irish man plays his role as a grumpy Viking very well and gets everybody a big smile on the face when he comes up with a new story of how he landed a double backflip in the mountains. He is a true sportsman and friend who has helped to shape Planet Surf to what it is today. You will love his stories and go out surfing with him.

    • Jack

      Jack is a Cornish surf coach, eager to share his experiences and tricks in the water with all the guests of the surf camp.

    • James

      James comes from England and is a true passionate of surfing. He even won a University price in Plymouth. He travels all over the world, loves adventure, and also sharing surging stories with all willing to listen.

    • Gabrielle

      Gabri is coming from Italy and is skilled not only in surfing but also in pasta cooking, of course. He has been living many years in Fuerteventura, has been teaching surfing, and enjoying a lifestyle that kept him young and full of vitality.

    • Yamir

      Yamir is an exceptional surfer and bodyboarder. He has been for many years part of the German national team. He is also the manager of the Spain and Canary islands surf camps. He has been practicing surfing since he was 17 years old and has been extensively traveling in search of the perfect wave.

    This surf camp is held in the beautiful volcanic island of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. Geographically, the Canary Islands belong to Africa as they are situated only 120 kilometers west from the African cost. From a political and administrative point, the islands are part of Spain. Fuerteventura is the second largest island of the Canary and famous for its coastline so popular among the beginner and advanced surfers.

The chefs at the camp know the importance of good nutrition when doing a sport as soliciting as surfing is, so be sure that you will be provided with healthy and nutritious meals to support your physical effort.

    Arrival by airplane

    Please book your flight to arrive at Fuerteventura Airport (FUE).

    From the airport to Corralejo, it is only 30 minutes by car. Taxi cabs are always available at the airport. You can also choose the cheaper version of booking a shuttle from the airport to Corralejo or just go by bus.

    Arrival by bus

    Travel by bus from Fuerteventura Airport (FUE) to Corralejo will take you 60 minutes. You will have to take bus route number 3 from the airport to Puerto del Rosario, and then bus route number 6 to Corralejo.
