Rodrigo Campos
Rodrigo Campos is a local surfer from Peniche, Portugal. He likes to surf good waves during the winter and travel around the world to get the perfect waves. During the summer he teaches at Peniche Kite & Surf Center where he loves to meet people from every part of the world and teach them how to surf.
Location
Peniche Kite & Surf Center's base is located in Peniche, one-hour driving from Lisbon. Peniche is a small town located on the west coast of Portugal, known for its perfect waves and also for having at least one spot with off-shore wind.
The accommodations are a few steps from the beach and ten minutes' walk from the city center and five minutes away from many supermarkets and restaurants. Around the accommodation, you have plenty of natural landscape like cliffs, caves, and empty beaches perfect to watch the summer sunsets.
The beach base is located on the main beach of Peniche. Right in front of it is one of the best and more consistent waves for beginners and intermediates, where you can also avoid huge crowds of surf schools and surfers. It's a nice quite place to learn and improve. The beach center is just five minutes' away by foot from the accommodation.
