The room was clean and tidy. The food is excellent, Fiotella is an excellent cook! The village was very quiet as it was the low season. A great 1st stop of our Peru trip! Consistent spot for surfing left and right waves, be careful of the urchins!

We went for part of our honeymoon July 2016. The hotel is very nice. The owner Antonio is amazing. He looks after everything and is kind and attentive. The food cooked by Antonio (breakfast) and his wife (lunch/dinner) is next level. It is like having a personal professional chef! The swell was big when we were there. Even in big days there are spots for beginner/intermediates. Lineups were always small and there was no localism.

Very nice place. Food was great. Antonio and Fruella were really nice. You should definitely try her ceviche. There are a lot of lights in town right in front of the break, so I surfed after dark a couple times. That was a lot of fun. Also got to take a road trip with Antonio to another break. Caught a few waves there that made the whole trip!
Also, we took a small trip to a nearby town and saw penguins there. Apparently the humbolt penguin lives around here due to the cold currents. Never thought I'd be surfing near penguins before.

We stumbled onto the hotel as a wind-down after tripping around South America. We were met and transferred from the airport and delivered to our room and welcomed with the best beef we have ever eaten! We woke up to a lovely view of the surf and a fresh and healthy breakfast. The cooking for the 4 nights and 5 days we were there, was great. We gave surfing a go and Antonio, for his size, is amazing in his ability to hold onto and push you into a wave. Whilst tiring, surfing for a novice like me was delightful with waves just at the right size. It was lovely living in someone's home because it gave an insight into local living. There are restaurants and lots of activities in an easy walking distance.

We really liked the stay at the surf camp. Everything was perfect and the people were so nice and courteous. The dinner and lunch were perfect, maybe the best what we got in Peru! Thanks for everything. We would go back there and can recommend the surf camp to everybody!

It was more of a bed and breakfast vibe with only a handful of rooms. Antonio and his family are gracious hosts. The hostel is located right by two breaks in San Bartolo and also by Penascal Point. Antonio is a wealth of local surf knowledge and is happy to share it with you. He took the time to show us the breaks between San Bartolo up to Pico Alto. Definitely take them up on the option for home cooked dinners.

Fantastic! Great food, very clean and extremely hospitable! We can't wait to come back! Thank you Antonio and Fiorella
Excellent lodging in front of the Ocean, excellent food and excellent waves; 5 surf spots within walking distance, excellent for beginners and advanced surfers.
Awesome! What a very special experience! Much more than a hotel or a surf school! Here one feels comfortable and secure by the warmth of the family. I had so much fun taking my first surf lessons! The Hotel is clean, safe, and upon request, you can order delicious food. A wonderful view and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. I am absolutely thrilled!
Thank you for such a wonderful time!
