Sumptuous and nourishing vegetarian and seafood fare, a relaxing massage, and real cultural immersion are all waiting for you.
The Lodge is the longest running surf camp in Nicaragua, about 17 years now, and the original founder has passed on all his wisdom and knowledge of surf in this area to their surf guides. He was the first one to surf these waves and name them, and he still visits the lodge all the time to hang out, talk, and give advice. There are new surf camps starting every day, and you never know what you will get.
The lodge is on the beach with two boats sitting out front at your disposal and a 30 second paddle to them. The camp is a lot of fun, perfectly located five minutes from the two best surf breaks in Nicaragua, comfortably nestled in the middle of our charming fishing village, walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops, and is quite affordable for the amazing experience you receive.
Nicaragua has gained popularity over the last few years for their great waves and its diversity both geographically and culturally. In the 16th century the Pacific coast of Nicaragua was settled as a Spanish colony - today it has a population approaching 6,000,000 and tourism is its second largest industry. Why do people want to visit Nicaragua? Because it has a little of everything ranging from surfers seeking barreling bliss to families on bus tours visiting active volcanoes.
