So when you study here, you will have ample opportunity for genuine engagement with the local townsfolk. And because everyone around here is used to having international students in town, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

If you’re looking for uncrowded waves, friendly locals, and an abundance of lefts and rights for beginners all the way up to elite surfers, Olón is the surf spot for you! The surf school is the best in Ecuador for beginner and intermediate surfers. The beach is fully sand bottom, making it super safe compared to locations breaking over reefs or rocks.
Surf lessons
They run private and group surf classes from Monday to Saturday all year round. Sunday lessons are available upon request. They meet at the surf school at the time of the lesson, grab boards, and head to the beach together. The exact times of surf lessons depend upon tide and wind conditions, so they vary from week to week.
To keep the group surf classes high value, they limit the number of students to 4 per surf instructor. They provide your surfboard (waxed and with a leash) and rashguard during your lesson.

Tour Cacao in Dos Mangas
Come and join Outdoor Ecuador Spanish and Surf School for a fun, informative three-hour class where you will learn how to make delicious, natural chocolate in your own home with everyday appliances. This is a hands-on tour that will allow you to complete all the steps needed to make your own chocolate, walking you through the process from sun-dried beans to the creation of chocolate treats. At the end of the tour, you will get to enjoy the chocolates that you made.

Location
This surf camp will take place in Olon, Ecuador. Olon is a small coastal town that boasts a beautiful mountainside to the east and a beach that hosts some of the best waves in Ecuador. Olon is located in the province of Santa Elena, about 220 kilometers northwest of Guayaquil.
The Republic of Ecuador is bordered by Colombia to the north, Peru to the south, the Amazon jungle in the east, and the beautiful Pacific coast in the west. The largest tourist attraction in Ecuador is the Galapagos Islands which are located about 1,000 kilometers off the Pacific Coast.
Ecuador has a variety of climates and landscapes including mountains, volcanos, jungle, the amazon river, sand-covered coastlines with world-class waves for surfing, and plenty of local towns and larger cities that are home to many small sub-cultures within. The coast has a more humid and hot climate, while the Amazon and mountainous regions have an often colder climate as you climb up.
