Program
Out of the conditioned way would like to keep small groups to maintain a cozy atmosphere and provide higher-quality surf classes. This also makes it easier to take guests to must-see attractions and hidden gems. The accommodation is a quiet place, but just a few steps away, there are bars where you can socialize, offering you the best of both worlds.
Overall, unlike in most hostels where you might feel like just another guest, we aim to personally connect with everyone and provide the best and safest experience at the surf retreat. They will be present throughout your stay to ensure this and we are super excited to be your hosts!
A typical day will look like this; waking up in front of the ocean, having an amazing breakfast while observing the conditions and surfers, getting your mind already in the right place for your morning surfing, surf class, having lunch in one of the kiosks at the ocean or the local self-service restaurant to explore typical Brazilian dishes or simply your self-prepared meal. Your well-deserved and needed relaxation time can be spent laying in the hammock or crossing the street to relax at the beach, go for a beautiful hike trail, or watch the beautiful sunset.
Mostly, your surf class will be between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. but it will depend on the conditions on that day; the team wants to make sure you catch waves as much as possible!

Alex Sandro Nunes
Alex embodies everything related to surfing; he is one of the legends here. Not only is he a great surfer and board shaper, but he is also highly skilled in surf skate! He has extensive experience in teaching surfing, is very patient, and will make sure you are the one catching a lot of waves!
Noah Nahas
An incredible surfer with a deep passion for surfing. He grew up in Rio de Janeiro and has been surfing non-stop since he was 11 years old. He has surfed in various places around the world, including Australia, Indonesia, Fiji, El Salvador, Peru, Ecuador, and California. He has been teaching surfing and English classes for several years, is very patient, and loves to educate people.
Location
This retreat will take place in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, it is located in the quietest part of the city of Rio de Janeiro. This place has everything you need for an unforgettable experience. Besides the accessible hiking trails, shops, kiosks, and restaurants, you are surrounded by one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
