My first experience in Yoga comes after 15 years of entrepreneurship in Canada. I went to a Bikram Yoga class with a discovery intention and ended up emotionally attached to the practice. The effect might be due to the 1h30 of heat in 6 months freezing city, however, I am deeply convinced that the real reason behind this connection is the similarities between the Bikram essence and the entrepreneurial spirit. The intensity and effectiveness of the Bikram class has the magical effect of washing out the brain and cleansing the heart; it is draining and energizing at the same time.
After seven beautiful years spent in Paris and Casablanca as an art journalist, I discovered yoga by meeting the man who is my husband today. Therefore, my first contact with the discipline was through Bikram. Within the practice, I could find the precision and concentration of my youth’s dance classes. Then, comes Savasana, the final meditation that adds some magic to these genuine moments of happiness. Following two years of intense practice, I gave way to the temptation of undergoing a rigorous training to be able to teach and open a yoga studio.
From an early age, yoga was part of Gabe Scally’s life. Having spent his teenage years in yoga studios in Casablanca and Montreal, Gabe has a strong understanding of the business development and management aspects of the wellness industry. Graduate of a business school, he deepens his knowledge in the world of yoga by training in Power Yoga and Yin Yang Yoga in France in 2017, and the method of Bungee Workout in 2018. He has been teaching at Om Yoga for three years. Since the summer of 2018, he has managed the studio Om Yoga Casablanca, aiming to combine a career in the wellness industry with
After studying international communication, Valérie naturally turned to a career in the business world. At age 38, she took her first yoga class at the Om Yoga studio, which she describes as a love at first sight. Two years later, she attended Hatha Yoga training with Noah Mc Kennah and took the opportunity to give her first classes in the studio. A revelation: giving lessons gives her as much pleasure as taking them! She followed that with a second training in Yin Yoga and decided to stop all other activities to focus solely on yoga. Valerie loves to dedicate her passion to beginners to whom
Ana discovers yoga as she builds her doctoral thesis to compensate for an intense intellectual life. After a degree in Philosophy, complementary studies in Antropology and Archeology, a doctorate in History of Science and a Master in Languages and Philosophies of Antiquity, she found in yoga an art of living that will mark her destiny. She has been practicing since her first Ashtanga Yoga Mysore style class. She has studied with teachers such as Nicholas Paul Evans, Elena Figarola, Radha and Pierre Seghir, and for the past ten years she has been working with her teacher Peter Sanson.

Passionate about music, nature and animals, she explores a new form of sensitivity with yoga. In July 2017, she became certified in Hatha / Vinyasa Yoga Teacher in Costa Rica. In her classes, Kenza values a practice that is physical, psychic and spiritual. A moment dedicated to letting go and re-connecting with oneself for all people being in a perspective of personal evolution whatever their level of practice.

For 15 years, Noha has been teaching the laws of physics to her students at the American School with passion and enthusiasm. She draws her energy from sport and thrills, from climbing and parachuting to motor bikes. For 9 years, she has found another source of energy and motivation: yoga; discipline as physical as spiritual. As a yogini apprentice, Noha develops her passion first with AirYogalates Aerial Yoga training and then AshtangaVinyasa training with All Yoga in Bali. Her goal: to share the benefits of yoga: balance, energy and concentration, especially with her young students.
After 5 years of daily practice, Nadia went on her first 200-hour Hatha Yoga training in Bali. She was then trained in Aerial Yoga techniques by the Canadian Geneviève Berube, co-founder of the AirYogalates method. It is in France that she will be certified by Yoga Alliance, in Power Yoga, Core Yoga, and Yin Yoga.

Graduated with an MBA specialized in Communication and Media, Fettoum is passionate about advertising and activities related to brand communication. A first experience in a Bikram yoga class that gave her the taste of happiness of this discipline. After more than 2 years of regular practice, at age 33, she decided to spend 2 months in the original country of yoga, India, for a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training.

"Excellents séjour et classes ! "

"Oasis Away From Home"
This retreat was exactly what I was looking for. It was the perfect escape in a safe environment where you could do as little and as much as you would like. I had opted to add cooking classes to my package and was very pleased to spend some quality time with the cook and learn a mix of different recipes. Every day, a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner were served family style by the pool.
The yoga classes were extremely varied and were taught by high class instructors who really took the time to explain things well. Classes welcome yoga enthusiasts at all levels and I would definitely recommend guests to try as many of the classes as possible.
Even prior to my arrival, during the planning process Doug was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions in regards to the trip. I was even more pleased to meet him in person as he was the one waiting for me at the retreat upon arrival. He was just as helpful, friendly and welcoming in person.

Everything was great! I loved the variety of yoga classes available.
from Denmark, February 2018
The classes are very diverse, so you will have the chance of trying some yogastyles that you never have. This was very nice.
The classes are unlimited, which means you can do as many or as few as you would like.
What really made this trip was definitely some of the sweet staff at OM, who really welcomed me and provided guidance, service and friendship.
The host-couple took me and a teacher out for a wonderful dinner.

"A perfect, sunny, relaxing way to start my holiday season! "
Om Yoga Casablanca was my first yoga retreat and detox experience. Words that jump to describe this experience include: very enjoyable, relaxing, sunny, tasty traditional Moroccan food (and I also enjoyed the detox juices!), amazing like-minded inspiring people, large variety of yoga classes available and the possibility to do-what YOU want to do.
At Om Yoga everything is possible, you just need to ask. You set your schedule, whether you just want to chill by the pool, sleep all day, take 5 yoga classes per day, visit the Mosque, take the cooking classes, switch from cooking to detox, the staff is extremely flexible and willing to work with you to make the most of your retreat. We had an amazing group of yogi’s who all arrived around the same time and did many things together, but nothing was a must it was all about going with the flow. About the yoga: there are 3 different rooms where yoga is taught. The rooms all have wooden floors, windows, heating and yoga equipment (you can borrow mats and towels). They vary in size, one looks out over the pool and gets great morning sun (I enjoyed the 7am yoga classes here!), another is where hot power yoga and Birkam are taught, and the third one is the smallest and it’s where there is wall yoga. On average I did 4 classes per day and enjoyed trying different styles such as Yin (all about stretching), Bar, Wall and Aerial (such an amazing class) and Pilates. I recommend trying all available classes and then going back to your favs!

"Home away from home"
Nabil and Aurelie welcomed me at their yoga studio in the Anfa neighborhood of Casablanca, which is very close to the beach and nearby shopping center. The experience was amazing, starting from great, Moroccon food to a wealth of yoga and pilates classes (Bikram yoga, Aerial yoga, wall yoga...just to name a few) with excellent teachers. If you are looking for a place to unwind but still close to the beach and shops and restaurants, then this is your place to go! After seven days of yoga retreat, I was well rested. I will definitely be back!

"A very good yoga retreat "
The quality of the yoga lessons were very good, and you could choose between several different kinds of yoga lessons every day.
from United Kingdom, April 2017
I really loved the concept of a yoga studio rather than simply a yoga retreat. Om Yoga offers various types of yoga that's open to the rest of Casablanca. The owners were always trying to please me as well - and as I was the only one there I felt more like an extended part of the family - which made my stay feel the more special. It was my first 4 day detox experience - and as pleasant a detox experience as one could expect! I was constantly distracted by the classes (yoga and non-yoga) that I could take, combined with the visit to the third largest mosque in the world, walks on the beach front or to the mall which were nearby. Classes to note are the aerial yoga (using hammocks), TRX and yoga barre. There are the usual other classes you would expect as well (ashtanga, bikram, vinyasa, yin etc.)

from Germany, February 2018
