I loved being here. It was a great experience. I loved the relaxed atmosphere. Barbara who runs offline portugal was great, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much. The accommodation was perfect. Breakfast was good. New years eve dinner and party that was laid on for us was fantastic.

You could choose from activities surfing, yoga or hikes during your stay. The location is great and in driving distance of two great surf beaches. The volunteers were friendly and professional. I could not have had a better stay. I do recommend a car for your stay. Easy to find on Google maps.

It was a great choice for me, i can say i had the best week of 2016; the founders are two world citizens, very cool people, very caring, the house is great, the authmosphere is great, the other visitors were also quite cool people. I recommend this place to everyone, offline portugal is a place where you can both socialize but at the same time have peace of mind of yours, perfect choice. I will definetly visit that place again, its a special place, yoga and surf courses are also quite good, I enjoyed every second there and was said for leaving the place.

This is a digital detox. You lock your phone up in a small locker at check in. No wifi, no tv, digital distractions. They have instruments and jams session nights, inside and outside yoga, surfing lessons, nature hikes and much more. We had a night where we sat by the fire getting to know all the other guests and employees at the house. It was a very cool experience you only usually get in a hostel. But we had the comfort of a great room, our own bathroom and kitchen. They have a great pool and will help you organize anything you want. One day we sat around the pool drinking wine, another day we had surf lessons. It was an amazing experience and wish I could have stayed longer. As they say there: Disconnect to reconnect

I had the most amazing experience staying at Offline Portugal. Barbara, Sten, and Rita are so incredibly welcoming and being 'offline' allows you to talk to one another and really get to know each other and feeling really comfortable.

The yoga session was amazing. Barbara is a calm, patient teacher and as someone who is still learning the ropes, it was helpful to be corrected or assisted in stretching deeper. The surfing was great with either Barbara or the volunteers driving us down to the beach for our surf lesson and offering to pick us up.

The pizza party in the mountains is a must! Hugo's bar is always a good laugh too! It was very hard to leave such a wonderful place and I am already planning my next visit!

The best place to leave the world behind and find tranquillity! Where to begin? The house is absolutely amazing and radiates good vibes; Barbara, Rita and the volunteers are lovely and made me feel so comfortable (like this is my house!). All the guests were wonderful and it was so much fun to actually to get to know them and do things together (no technology so we spent our time on hikes, yoga, meditation, playing games and having good laughs). I think we were all sad when we said our goodbyes. The Offline guesthouse has a special place in my heart! Thank you all for the wonderful time, cannot wait to come back!

I stayed at the awesome house of Offline Portugal when Barbara and I organized a meditation and yoga retreat there. I really enjoyed my stay - the house is so welcoming, amazing vibes. Barbara, Rita, and each one of the volunteers are great hosts, they all make you feel like your own home! The Offline concept is very inspiring and I left the house with plenty new friends with whom we truly connected - miss you all already!

By far one of the best stays that I had for years! Totally recommended if you want to enjoy, relax, get away from technology for a while, and create meaningful connections with people. Thank you so much guys, hope to see you again soon.

Amazing Weekend. The idea of disconnect it’s just what we need to discover that living without a mobile phone it’s not so hard! Offline Portugal it’s the place to recover from real life .Barbara, Rita and Sten are great and always available to provide all that you need. Surf, Yoga, Music are the elements that connect you to the essential. Together with the beautiful beach of Arrifana and all the nature environment, it’s the best place to spend a few days. I recommend everyone!

I have to admit, I wasn't sold on the concept before going in. Why is being offline that important? Now, after being in there for 5 days (and back to real life for the same time), I have to say it’s a great thing. As Sten put it, being online connects you to the people that are far way (which is an awesome thing) but it disconnects you from the people that are with you. This is why leaving your phone by the door really allows you to enjoy the people, the place and the moment around you. Try it. A beautiful and very relaxing location, a warmth and very cozy house and some of the most welcoming people I have ever met. Surf, yoga, hikes, barbecues, sunset drinks, parties, jam sessions, games, pool. There’s tons to do and loads of people to enjoy them with. I really recommend it to whoever wants to relax, meet new people and enjoy the moment. Thanks to everyone in the Offline House for a great long weekend. Hope the best for you guys. See you soon!

Hey guys, so it's been a week since I left you and I am missing Offline so much! Thanks for the amazing time and the warmth welcoming. I really enjoyed disconnecting to reconnect and all the yoga classes, surf lessons, hikes, music sessions and so forth. Also it was great that I could get my phone straight away to check on my friend when those terrible Brussels attacks happened. Sometimes Facebook can be a good thing smile emoticon all in all 5 stars and I am definitely coming back soon. Save me VHS room next time! Thanks for everything!
