Yoga and surfing complement each other perfectly. A flowing yoga routine is also similar to riding the waves. They both keep us in the present moment and mindfully connect us to our true selves. Apart from these similarities yoga builds body strength you need when surfing, it helps you to find balance, increases energy and releases tensions held in your bodies.
You will learn how to surf with Manawai surf school in various locations around the northern part of the island. No matter whether you are a complete beginner or you’ve already learned to surf, the instructor will adapt to your needs and level of knowledge. The individual approach assures your steady progress, and under the watchful eye of the surf instructor you will learn surfing in theory and practice exactly where surfers spend the majority of their time – on the beach. Forget the stress of daily life and enjoy the activity filled, playful, and spontaneous week with enough free time just for yourself.
Fully equipped private apartments are located in a quiet complex surrounded by pools and gardens 15 min walk from the ocean and center of Corralejo. The apartments have one bedroom, spacious living room with dining area, kitchenette, bathroom, private terrace. Suitable for individuals as well as couples or a couple of friends traveling together. Towels and linen are provided.

Tjasa has been practising and studying the teachings of yoga for over two decades. She has trained in dynamic Vinyasa, Hatha, and more recently Yin yoga. For her, yoga is a way of connecting to the divine, finding stillness, staying in the present, feeling grounded, and balanced. She holds a certificate in plant-based nutrition through e-Cornell and believes that yoga combined with plant based lifestyle leads to vibrant health, wellness, and compassion on the planet. She is also a nature and lifestyle photographer, specializing in yoga photography.
Fuerteventura is the longest island of the seven Canary islands. The desert interior landscape resembles some parts of Morocco. With numerous volcanoes and serene, open spaces, Fuertevenura leaves us with unforgettable and calm feelings. Still, we can easily say that the islands biggest treasures lay next to the ocean – the countless, empty sand beaches. Fuerteventura has been able to avoid the mass tourism, which has plagued some of the other islands. It is a paradise for a relaxing holiday. A place where you can truly tune out of the modern day tempo and tune into waves, sun, wind, clouds and stars. North part of the island is the best place for waves and Manawai Surf House sits in the small town of Corralejo, ideally positioned on the crossroads to all the great beaches and surf spots.
This holiday is self-catering. There is a big supermarket and some restaurants nearby so you have the complete freedom to eat out or buy and prepare whatever you want in the fully-equipped kitchen.
