Program
Join an amazing surf camp on the Coast of the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy a few days full of intensive training, great fun, and wonderful memories to take home. During the camp, you will practice two hours a day with qualified instructors. You will be divided into small groups of five pupils per instructor. Surfing equipment such as soft board and wetsuit will be provided. This is a good option for improvers who would take their surfing one step further in a two-hour surf course. The lessons are structured this way.
Firstly, you will check in at the surf school 10 minutes before the lessons start. You will then dress up in the school’s locker room, watch the video theory in the school, theory on the beach, warm up, practice in the sand, practice in the water, stretch, and back to the school. This camp also offers an instructor with the national surf instructor title, material such as board, wetsuit, and school lycra, use of dressing room, toilets, showers, and lockers, and civil liability and accident insurance.

Timetable
The intensive improver lessons take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.
Location
The surfing camp will take place in the Canary Islands, Spain. Las Canteras Beach is one of the most important city beaches in Spain, awarded with several national and international quality certificates, among them, the Q for Tourist Quality awarded by the ICTE (Spain's Institute for Tourist Quality).
Las Canteras beach extends from La Puntilla to the Alfredo Kraus concert hall, a three-kilometer walk where different areas, each with its own characteristics, can be enjoyed La Cícer (a surfer's paradise), Peña La Vieja (with a rocky area full of sea life), Playa Chica and Muro Marrero (the most familiar area), Playa Grande (the birthplace of tourism in the Canaries), and La Puntilla (local fishermen's las spot).
La Barra, a natural reef that goes parallel to half the beach and at only 200 meters from the shore, is a natural breakwater and also serves as a natural shelter for swimmers and other beach users. Walking along the fine golden sand of Las Canteras when the tide is low and during sunset is an unforgettable experience that can not be missed.
The official Oceanside Gran Canaria surf school
Also known as the official Quiksilver surf school, it is located on one of the most beautiful urban beaches in the world, Playa de Las Canteras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A beach of blond and black sand in which, thanks to its average 24 degrees Celcius and the variety and quality of its waves, instructors can teach you surf, bodyboard, or paddle surf (SUP) 365 days a year. In this surf school, you can also rent all kinds of surfboards for beginners (soft boards), intermediate level (evolutive), and advanced surfers (PKS and PUKAS shortboards), Quiksilver and Roxy wetsuits, and all kinds of surf accessories.

Arrival by plane
Please book your flight to arrive at Gran Canaria Airport (LPA). Transfer from and to the airport is available upon request at 35 EUR per way. The van capacity is seven people maximum.
Arrival by bus
If you arrive before 7:00 p.m., Oceanside Gran Canaria Surf will meet you at their office. You can take the bus to Las Palmas city (San Telmo bus station) and from there take the local yellow bus Nº 17 and stop at two bus stops before arriving at the Auditorium or the shopping center Las Arenas.
