Studio

Canteras Studio
The Canteras Studio is an ideal for surfer couples and families because it is comfortable, central, modern, and located in one of the best areas of Las Canteras beach, next to “La Cícer” (surfing area), “Las Arenas” shopping center, the auditorium, Alfredo Kraus congress palace, and the shopping area of Mesa y López. It is equipped with a living room, single beds, a kitchen, a shower cabin, a washing machine, towels, bed linen, Wi-Fi, and a television.
Agüita surf hostel
Agüita surf hostel is one of the best surf hostels in Europe due to its stunning location, right over Las Canteras beach, the numerous nearby surf spots, the personal all-round service, and a very special infrastructure tailored for surfing requirements. They are offering shared rooms for four to six persons. Their best room with a private bathroom and amazing sea view is El Frontón. The cheapest way to stay is in their six-bed dorms with a shared bathroom called Trinidad, which is included in your package.
You will probably like it best in their open-air chill-out area. also known as the “surfer’s throne over Canteras beach”. Hammocks, deck chairs and rocking chairs, sofas, a barbecue corner, and al-fresco shower that will make you want to stay forever and their rooftop bar coco loco where you can enjoy an ice-cold cerveza tropical, the local beer. Not to forget the fantastic views of the sea, from here, you can check out the waves at sunrise while you are still brushing your teeth.
Fully equipped is no empty promise. The kitchen boasts a coffee machine, dishwasher, big fridge, stove, and microwave. As Oceanside Gran Canaria Surf lives in the surf house themselves, you will always have a multilingual contact in the house. They organize weekly outings to explore their multifaceted island. You can also feel free to organize barbecues with other surfers on the rooftop terrace. VA hostel Gran Canaria also provides beach volley net, snorkeling equipment, high-speed Wi-Fi, printer, Gran Canaria maps, and towels for free.
Boquines is an upstairs dorm room with six comfortable bunk beds. This dorm is the only room on the first floor of the house and on the same level as the rooftop terrace with sea view. This room for six persons includes a private bathroom, only used by the people in this room. Since the house is so close to the beach, you can hear the sound of the ocean, as soon as you open the windows. This room also has a big wooden wardrobe and dresser for all your clothes.
Molokai is a spacious six-person dorm is located on the ground floor of the hostel. It offers you sea views and fresh air from the Atlantic Ocean through two big windows. Of all dorms, this is the one closest to the sea, so the sound of the ocean will relax you and make you sleep like a baby. The customized bunk beds are adapted to the needs of a hostel. They are spacious so you can sit comfortably in them. Also, they have a lot of space under the beds so everybody can store its luggage without annoying other guests or make the room look untidy.
El Fronton is the best room of the surf house. This is a spacious six-person dorm with private bathroom and stunning sea views. You will fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the ocean and direct views to the Atlantic Ocean.
Program
During the camp, you will be divided into small groups of up to seven pupils per instructor. Surfing equipment such as soft board and wetsuit will be provided. This intensive surf course is designed for those who want to maximize their surf or bodyboard lessons. You will have three two hours of classes a day, from Monday to Sunday, on the beach of Las Canteras.
You will be offered a monitor with the national surf instructor title, material such as board, wetsuit (Quiksilver or Roxy), school lycra, fins, and boots, use of facilities including dressing room, toilets, showers, and lockers, student card, and civil liability and accident insurance.

The official Oceanside Gran Canaria surf school
Also known as the official Quiksilver surf school, it is located on one of the most beautiful urban beaches in the world, Playa de Las Canteras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A beach of blond and black sand in which, thanks to its average 24 degrees Celcius and the variety and quality of its waves, instructors can teach you surf, bodyboard, or paddle surf (SUP) 365 days a year.
In this surf school, you can also rent all kinds of surfboards for beginners (soft boards), intermediate level (evolutive), and advanced surfers (PKS and PUKAS shortboards), Quiksilver and Roxy wetsuits, and all kind of surf accessories.
Timetable
Your class will begin from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every day. You will have to be at school 10 minutes before the start of the class.

Location
The camp will take place in Canary Islands, Spain. Las Canteras Beach is one of the most important city beaches in Spain, awarded with several national and international quality certificates, among them, the Q for tourist quality awarded by the ICTE (Spain's Institute for tourist quality).
Las Canteras beach extends from La Puntilla to the Alfredo Kraus concert hall, a three-kilometer walk where different areas, each with its own characteristics, can be enjoyed La Cícer (a surfer's paradise), Peña La Vieja (with a rocky area full of sea life), Playa Chica and Muro Marrero (the most familiar area), Playa Grande (the birthplace of tourism in the Canaries), and La Puntilla (local fishermen's las spot).
La Barra, a natural reef that goes parallel to half the beach and at only 200 meters from the shore, is a natural breakwater and also serves as a natural shelter for swimmers and other beach users. Walking along the fine golden sand of Las Canteras when the tide is low and during sunset is an unforgettable experience that can not be missed.

Arrival by plane
Please book your flight to arrive at Gran Canaria Airport (LPA). Transfer from and to the airport is available upon request at 35 EUR per way. The van capacity is 6 persons maximum.
Arrival by bus
- If you arrive before 19:00 p.m., Oceanside Gran Canaria Surf will meet you at their office. You can take the bus to Las Palmas city (San Telmo bus station) and from there take the local yellow bus Nº 17 and stop two bus stops before to arrive at the Auditorium or the shopping center Las Arenas.
- If you arrive after 19:30 p.m., you can go directly to Ocean Side Surf Hostel (if this is where you will be staying). You need to take the bus to Santa Catalina bus station and from there can walk to the Surfhostel: Paseo De Las Canteras Nº 53.
