Oceanos Chile keeps the surf classes small and intimate to ensure you get the attention you deserve. Their personalized service includes door-to-door pickup and drop off from your location to the beach. The surf lesson will take two hours. Whether you are a beginner or just a little rusty and want to brush up on your skills, Oceanos tailors the lessons to suit you.

You will enjoy a half-day and a full-day tour of your choice. Full day tours include a cultural tour of Pichilemu, a wine tour, and savoring the secret surf spots. For the half-day excursions, you can opt among the ancestral Cáhuil Salt Flats, the historic water mills (includes entry fees), and a traditional pottery workshop. Excursions will include water, fruits, snacks, pick up, and drop off.
Ismael holds a Bachelor of Ecotourism from Universidad Andres Bello, Chile, and has been an International Surf Association instructor and qualified trainer for more than 10 years. He considers teaching a great way to combine his love of surfing with a vocation that enables him to share his knowledge and inspire others to experience a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Emilio is a natural born wild guy, grew up on a botanical park, Parque Las Lilas south of Santiago; where he discovered wilderness at early childhood. At the same park started inviting friends from preschool encouraging them to live everyday a different adventure. Now days, he splits his energy and time between expeditions, personal goals and spreading the passion he feels for nature .
This surf camp will take place in Pichilemu, Chile. Pichilemu, originally known as Pichilemo, is located southwest of Santiago in central Chile and is the capital of Cardenal Caro Province. It comprises an urban center and twenty-two villages, including Ciruelos, Cáhuil, and Espinillo. Pichilemu is home to approximately 13,000 residents, however, numbers swell in the summer when many Chileans seek refuge on the coast.
Pichilemu has many expansive black-sand beaches and is a tourist destination for surfing, windsurfing, and kiteboarding. The region hosts several surf championships each year at Punta de Lobos, arguably the best surfing location in South America. While tourism is the main local industry, forestry and handicrafts also play an important role.
During this holiday, you will be served three dinners, two breakfasts, and one lunch. Oceanos uses only local and fresh ingredients with an emphasis on providing you with nourishing and tasty meals.
A generous breakfast will ensure you have all the energy you need for your surfing lesson. Oceanos provides fresh fruit, juice, bread, cheese, and of course, great coffee.
Lunch will vary depending on the activities planned for the day. You will get to sample local Chilean fare at one of Pichilemu's many restaurants and cafes or you can enjoy a picnic on the beach or in the vineyards. To keep your energy levels high during the day, especially when hitting the waves, Oceanos will provide you with fruits, nuts, bottled water, and hot chai or yerba mate.
At the end of a big day of surfing, or after experiencing the local sites, you can look forward to fish or meat roasted over an open fire with salads, fruits, and maybe even some of South America's home-grown superfood, quinoa. All will be accompanied by a cold beer or a local Chilean wine.
This trip will take you on a journey to the past! Experience some of the region's oldest traditions and meet the people at the heart of operating these local businesses. You will also get to enjoy a short hike through the countryside and the opportunity to learn about the native Chilean flora and to see many endangered species of trees and plants.
Experience some of Chile's world-renowned wine in the Colchagua Valley, located just one hour from Pichilemu. Oceanos Chile will transport you to the local region so you can take the time to enjoy tastings at your choice of three beautiful “bodegas”. You can also stop for lunch or dinner along the way. At each vineyard, you will have the opportunity to appreciate great wine, learn about the local wine-making process, and even attempt to mix your own blend.
As an experienced local business, Oceanos Chile's crew are the ideal guides to show you the surf spots tourists never find. For more advanced surfers, this is a great chance to surf in different conditions and visit harder to reach beaches.
