An apartment in Conil de la Frontera town center will be your home for the next seven days. Oceano Surf apartment accommodation in Conil de la Frontera enjoys a fantastic location in a quiet urban neighborhood of the beachside town of Conil de la Frontera. They have two brand new self-catered apartments that are clean, comfortable, and have a superb beach access by foot.
The apartments have fully equipped kitchens, spacious living rooms, sunny patios, clean, and comfortable bedrooms. Conil has a winter or spring local population of around 25,000 inhabitants which numbers swell in the tourist high season. In turn, Conil is a host to a thriving community of local markets selling local produce as well as a few large supermarkets that stock everything that you might need for the duration of your holiday.
A five-minute walk down the hill from the apartments are the Conil de la Frontera town beaches, which are both immense and beautiful. In the Conil part of the Costa de la Luz beaches, you can find restaurants such as Casa Fransico de la Fontanilla. This is a lovely restaurant that encroaches onto the white sands of the Atlantic beach.
The apartments are ideally suited for you to make the best of Conil de la Frontera and the surrounding area. Children are supervised at all hours for the duration of the holiday including when they are at the accommodation.
Oceano Surf's school has been in operation for the past ten years and we have developed a wonderful environment in which to enjoy the amazing thrill of surfing. Their instructors hold all the necessary qualifications that are needed to teach surfing. More importantly, they are dedicated local surfers from the area with years of experience in giving surfing lessons in the local area.
Their surf school is based in Conil de la Frontera between the beaches of La Fontanilla and the Rio Salado. Children are supervised at all hours for the duration of the holiday.
Throughout the weeks in this summer surf camp holiday, the young people find themselves in reduced groups of a maximum of eight young people. During the surfing holiday week, the children participate in a wide range of activities and workshops, learning new sports, and social skills. The holidays provide a great introduction to speaking Spanish at a conversational level.
The participants arrive in Conil de la Frontera. The arrival time is between the hours of 15:00 and 22:00. The meeting point is the Conil de la Frontera bus station which is in the town center. Alternatively, if your bus stops at the Cruce de Conil which is two kilometers outside the town center, you will be met there.
From the Conil de la Frontera bus stop, you will make your way to Oceano Surf House which is located in the town center of Conil de la Frontera. Here, you can unpack your bags, choose your bed, settle in and have a well-earned snack that will be waiting for you at the Surf House.
With your other roommates, you can make your way down to the beach. At the same time, a member of the Oceano Surf team will be available to meet the guests who will be arriving later that day. At 21:30, dinner will be served in the Oceano Surf House. After dinner, you and your group will go for a walk around Conil de la Frontera getting to know the ins and outs of the village. At 00:00 everyone will be in bed resting for the next day ahead.
Monday until Friday, the Oceano Surf Camp itinerary remains relatively consistent with regards to the timings. It is important however to mention that every afternoon, depending on the weather conditions the native speaking Spanish members of the Oceano Surf team, will hold an informal workshop in Spanish. The children can improve their level of Spanish while having fun.

From Gibraltar International Airport (GIB), Oceano Surf would suggest to rent a hire car across the border in Spain. If you do not wish to hire a car, then catch a bus to Algeciras and then transfer to a bus that will take you to Conil de la Frontera.
Out all the four airports, Malaga Airport (AGP) is the furthest away from Conil de la Frontera. Rental cars are readily available and not expensive in Malaga. Due to the excellent roads that link up Malaga and Conil, the drive time is around two hours and 15 minutes. From Malaga Airport, you also can take train to Malaga Renfe (the main train station in the city center). Once you get to Malaga train station, right next door is the bus station. From there, you can catch a bus to Conil de la Frontera.
From Jerez Airport (XRY), catch a train direct to Cadiz. Once you have arrived in Cadiz, you can then catch a bus directly to Conil de la Frontera. Once in Conil, a representative from Oceano Surf Camps will meet you at the bus station in Conil de la Frontera. Arriving into Jerez Airport from London Stansted, the train is at 11:44 and the flight arrives at 11:40 a.m. You are not going to have time to catch the train to Cadiz. Therefore, Oceano Surf recommends that you catch the bus to Conil.
From Seville Airport (SVQ), you can catch a bus directly outside the arrivals hall to the main train station Sevilla Santa Justa. Once here, you can catch a train from Sevilla Santa Justa to Cadiz. On arrival in Cadiz, walk right across to the bus station where you can catch the bus directly to Conil de la Frontera.
