The kite villa in Sicily is located in the immediate vicinity of the spot and offers a total of four large rooms with plenty of space for up to eight people. Each room has a private bathroom. If you will arrive as a group, there is also the option of a triple or quadruple room.
The large, fully equipped kitchen can be used as well. Oasis Kite will provide you with breakfast and dinner. The garden including the barbecue will invite you to a barbecue and the veranda is a great meeting place to relax in.

Wine tasting
Included in the camp is an exclusive wine tasting in a traditional winery in Marsala. At the wine tasting, there will be the right drop for every palate. The provinces of Trapani and Marsala are known for their excellent wines.
Sicilian cuisine workshop with a chef
Sicilian cuisine is known far beyond borders for its special delicacies. For one evening a week, you will have the opportunity to learn a few tricks and recipes from an authentic Italian cook.

The program will always depend on the wind forecast. In the evening, you can speak about the plan for the next day, like when you will go to the kite spot or what excursions or events are planned. As you will be in small groups, you can be super flexible.

Included excursions
In the rare case of having not so much wind in the forecast, the surrounding area offers a lot to discover. Possible destinations for a day trip are the chic provincial capital of Trapani as well as the adjacent Erice.
From the castle, located high at 751 meters, you will have a fantastic view of the sea and the vineyards. The historic alleys will invite you to stroll and eat gelato.
Alternatively, a trip to Segesta is on the program. The idyllically situated, ancient temple recently served as a film set for Harrison Ford in the latest Indiana Jones flick. There is also a thermal bath.
Instructors
Florian
Florian is a certified VDWS kite instructor since 2014 with teaching experience around the world. His teaching destinations include Germany, Spain, Colombia, Portugal, Tunisia. He can speak German, English, and Spanish.
Location
The camp will take place in Marsala, Sicily, Italy. Kitesurf vibes are all over the place, so it is the spot to be in Italy. There is a shallow lagoon perfect for beginners and riders who want to progress their freestyle skills. Restaurants and bars are also at the place. The kite villa is five minutes' distance from the spot.
When one of the largest shallow water lagoons in Europe, fantastic food, delicious wine, sun, and wind come together, you can safely speak of a kitesurfing heaven on earth. This summer, Oasis Kite will take you to one of the most popular kite spots in the world, and they have put together a unique kite program.
Kite spot
Sicily and especially the lagoon of Lo Stagnone offers both absolute beginners and World Cup riders a perfect playground. Shallow water and constant wind from the north or south enable the best freestyle and training conditions.
The main spot is located in the southern part of the lagoon and thus far away from the hustle and bustle of the many schools in the north. At the station of the Kite Club Marsala, they have a beautiful construction area on the grass.
A compressor, changing rooms, and catering facilities are available. In the water, they have space without end that will take you to the Isola Grande, which separates the lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea. Kiting in boardshorts is the standard there in July.
If there is not so much wind at their spot, you can also switch to the spot at Mazara del Vallo (Capo Feto). A downwinder through the entire lagoon is also possible.

Arrival by plane
Please book your flight to arrive at Vincenzo Florio Airport Trapani–Birgi (TPS). Pickup from this airport is available for an additional 25 EUR. There are also a few connections to Birgi / Trapani International Airport (TPS). From there, it is only a 20-minute drive to the camp and Oasis Kite will be happy to pick you up personally.
You can also book your flight to arrive at Falcone–Borsellino Airport (Punta Raisi Airport) (PMO). Pickup from this airport is available for an additional 50 EUR. Most flights land at Punta Raisi airport in Palermo. The Sicilian island capital is very well-connected and there are many direct flights, so you can land there from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland within two to three hours.
Arrival by bus
The airport bus Salemi will takes you in a heartbeat to Marsala, which runs almost every hour and will take you to Marsala in 90 minutes (approximately 12 EUR each way). Oasis Kite can pick you up there for 25 EUR per car. They will be happy to collect you from the bus station in Marsala and drive to the camp together.
Arrival by car
You can grab a rental car and go to Oasis Kite individually.
