Haytam Leknizi
Haytam, an instructor from Agadir, is a surfer / bodyboarder. The ocean and the waves have no secrets for him! With 10 years of experience and graduated from ISA (International Surf Association), whatever your level is (beginner or intermediate), he will make you progress quickly. He started surfing at the age of 14 and has surfed the waves of the best Moroccan spots. Then, he can guide you and make you discover them. Also, he will help you discover his culture and amazing places.
Yassine
Yassine, an instructor from Agadir, has always been passionate about surfing. He started surfing at the age of 12 and now, he is a surf instructor for eight years. Graduated from ISA (International Surf Association), he will teach you the best surfing techniques to improve your practice.
Mehdi
Mehdi, an instructor from Aourir, started surfing when he was young and then decided to pass on to you his passion. Graduated from ISA (International Surf Association), he will teach you the best surfing techniques to improve your practice.

Perfect trip!
Ali is an amazing instructor! I’ve always been comfortable catching white waves and Ali’s practical instruction is so thorough that by day three I’d advanced so much that I would only catch green waves 🤩 plus his theory is comprehensive and actionable. He’s also lovely to spend time with.
Haytam is also super friendly and extra helpful! He constantly checked that we were happy with everything and goes above and beyond at the drop of a hat e.g. I forgot to pack dental essentials and Haytam very quickly bought me replacements and refused to take money for it!
Iman is the perfect hostess with the mostess! Beautiful inside and out. The riad is gorgeous, clean, cosy, comfy and inviting. The Moroccan party was so much fun, a fantastic show case of traditional instruments and captivating dance. The food is yummy and all the staff are lovely and helpful. Iman’s sister is also adorable, as is Eva, her little one. Beautiful family business.
As always, the guests are great. If you’re wondering whether travelling alone is going to be ok, this was my fourth surf trip to Morocco and each and every time I’ve enjoyed enriching breakfast, dinner and chill out conversations, and left with new friends.
I’d totally recommend, and I can’t wait to go back! 🏄🏾♀️🩵🌊

Amazing camp!!!
First of all, this wasn't my first surf camp in Tamraght and this time it was indeed great.
Instructors Haytam and Soufiane were knowledgeble, very heplful, gave a lot of tips, could work with different levels, always checked how is it going. Also, Soufiane takes wonderful pictures what is always a great memory!
Place where we stayed - Riad Dlim - is an amazing place as well.
Imane, the hostess, is just a purely nice person and even with the smallest issues (wifi, towels etc.) will deal very quickly. The food! I Stayed there for a week and didn't have the same dinner twice, always was a enough of food at the dinner and breakfast tables.
In overall - very great camp if you want to improve your skills, or learn new ones, but also stay in a nice Riad in a quite comfortable place (20 min by foot to the beach).

Sehr schönes Surfcamp mit tollem Service
Es war ein sehr schönes 3-tägiges Surfcamp, das sehr gut organisiert und familiär war. Surfunterricht hatten wir bis zu einer Gruppe von 2 bis 4 Personen, sodass man individuelle Hilfe und Tipps von Omar, dem Surflehrer bekommen konnte. Neben einem Flughafentransfer bei An- und Rückreise, wurde man von Haytam vom Riad zum Strand hingebracht und wieder abgeholt. Auch das Lunchpaket, Obst und Trinken wurde uns zum Strand gebracht. Dieses konnten wir dann in der eigenen Chill-Lounge essen. Auch in der schönen Unterkunft sehr gut für uns gesorgt. Es gab es sehr gutes marokkanisches Essen, dass morgens und abends von sehr freundlichem Personal serviert wurde.

Dad and son surf
Excellent hospitality and organisation in a relaxed but very efficient manner. Very friendly and helpful staff in the accommodation. Both Haytam and Ali were helpful and encouraging instructors, whilst being genuinely nice and helpful people to spend time with. Really enjoyed meeting people from France and Germany, sharing breakfast and dinner really added to the experience.

Great surfing experience
Great place to surf and a team of really great guys are running this, very friendly, funny and helpful! My group were driven around to the nearby beaches every day for the best surf experience possible, and given coaching by the experienced instructors so that we were standing up and catching some waves straight away. This is very suitable for beginners and novices, but surfers of any level would have a great time here. On a couple of nights we were taken out to the best restaurants the team recommended in the area, and we went on a day trip to Paradise Valley for a walk which was great too (although note there is no water at the moment due to a drought!) We hung out in the evening and made friends with the group. If you're looking for a cheap and easy going surfing getaway and some sunny beach time, you will have a great time here!

Instructor was Ali. He was excellent with the kids and very patient. Haytam drove the van. Both were with us every night for dinner. The surfing beaches were great for us. The yoga teacher Atta was also excellent.

Great surf camp. Highly recommended.
The surfing part was great. Ali is a skilled and passionate coach who has a lot of knowledge to share and I could feel that he enjoyed seeing me progressing. They know a lot about the area and will always bring you to the right spot matching your level so you can challenge yourself and improve but always stay safe.
The accommodation was comfortable, the food was good and the logistic went like a breeze. I did not have to worry about anything. On top of that Haytam is always available and he would do anything to help his guests feel comfortable and fully enjoy their trip.
Getting to know Haytam and Ali better was also super nice. They are great guys and have plenty of interesting stories to share about Morocco, the ocean and surfing.
I definitely recommend this surf camp and wish I could go back some day.

Eine fantastische Woche !
Ich hatte ganze 8 Tage, die leider vieeeeel zu schnell vergingen! Die Woche war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung, die Energie in der Gruppe die Stimmung in der Riad, die Stunden auf den Wellen.
Unser Surflehrer Ali schaffte es uns alle schon bald zum stehen zu bringen, durch die überschaubare Größe der Gruppe kann er auf jeden einzelnen eingehen und persönliche Hilfestellung leisten, und sobald du deine erste eigene Welle fängst bist du süchtig. Das Yoga mit Ata war daher ein perfekter Ausgleich zu den anstrengend Surftagen. Ali war mehr als bemüht das sich jeder wohl fühlt, sich in die Gruppe einfindet und sein bestes aus diesen Surftagen für sich bekommt!
Das Essen war auch super lecker, es gab Couscous, Tajins, und viele andere leckere marokkanische Highlights! Einen Abend gingen wir zu einem Restaurant um bei Sonnenuntergang am Meer zu essen!
Wer hierherkommt geht mit neuen Freunden und vielen unvergesslichen Momenten wieder nachhause!

Overall the quality of this package is really good
Ali is a very positive person and explains things about surfing in detail. Although the surf lessons were only two hours, even after them he was with our team teaching us and helping to improve our skills in surfing.
Overall the riad was clean and the welcome was really warm. Andrea, Tesa and the rest of riad team assisted us with everything we needed and even gave some tips on surfing! The experience is amazing and we brought some great memories from the camp

Wonderful time & people
We had no idea what to expect coming to Morooco but the guys take care about us so incredibly well that we got quick feeling of having great time with adventure ahead. They help us with every thing what we ask and needed. Surf camp fully professional, we had tones of fun but we actually learn basic in just 3 surf days :D We will be back!

Wonderful holidays
Loco Surf is situated in Taghazout, calm village far away 20 Km from the already saturated Agadir. The days I spent in the guest house were sincerely special.
The guest house is placed in a beautiful big house, shared by maximum 8 - 10 guests. I think it's a perfect number, as you have loads of space to be by yourself, read a book, do yoga, work, chill, sunbath and also space to socialize with the other guests. I was really lucky being there with nice and interesting people that was also hosted.
Everyday we went to surf on the beaches nearby. Houssam and Haytam, the surf instructor, always make sure to drive us to the best waves around (there is 2 good point breaks and some beach breaks not far away). Morning and afternoon the yoga class was with Ata , an incredible yoga teacher that make you feel absolutely amazing.
The food cooked by Fatima was just amazing. Homemade Morrocan soul food.
And last but not less important, the care and the happiness of the owners of the place is something remarkable. Pauline and Haytam, a french-morrocan couple, are always present to help on anything the guests need with a big smile in the face and knowledge about the zone.
For sure, I will back in Taghazout, very soon!

Review of Loco Surf Maroc
We loved the welcome from Pauline and Haytam. They looked after us wonderfully during our stay, ensuring everything was just right for our yoga classes and surfing. And they also went out of their way to organise things for us, to take us to other places (like the wonderful horse ranch and we had a fantastic ride on the beach), to recommend the best cafe, to take photos of us on the beach....and in our case, great aftercare when we left something at the riad. We had a fantastic trip.

Amazing time with this lovely people
There were so many positive things during my stay in the camp. First I will like to say how great hosts are, they helped a lot with getting around and organizing side activities for us. Amin, our surf instructor is a great guy and a really good teacher, for me as a beginner it meant a lot. Food was delicious, every dinner was an event worth waiting for.
I'm sure I will be back there next time I visit Marocco.

Our first surfing experience
I was happy to have my first surfing experience with Haytem and Pauline. Haytem was attentive and good at teaching and inspired us to keep trying one wave after another. After all we did it and what is more important that we felt that we would like to come back and continue our practice with Loco Surf.
As for the riad, it was cozy and we spent great time there.
We also had different and tasty lunches at the beach made by Pauline herself that gave us energy for surfing practice.
The description on the web-site is accurate. If you are choosing a Surf Camp you will not regret if you choose Loco Surf.
We would definately like to come back here later.

Nice small group and very personal surf camp
Pauline and Haytam we're there to say hi when we arrived at 00:00 at the Riad. And we're always there for dinners in the evening. Such a nice couple who are really helpful. The real plus side about Loco surf Maroc is that it's always in a small group so you get a lot of personal attention.
