You will be accommodated in a farmhouse-style apartment. The apartments are self-catering and, for this reason, they have been fully equipped to meet your needs. You are welcome to use the television, microwave, gas cooker, electric oven, or fireplace and enjoy the nice view of the Luz Valley on your terrace or balcony. There are two kinds of apartments, a one-bedroom apartment, and a two-bedroom apartment. Optional two extra persons can also sleep in the lounge on the couches.
In your backyard, you will find a huge swimming pool surrounded by a big garden where you can relax. There is also a children’s playground and table tennis equipment. You and your neighbors can organize barbecue evenings as there is a special area for grilling and hanging out. Also, with the free parking spaces, you do not have to worry about parking your car. The location is just perfect as it is a short walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and organic stores.
Note
ASA Algarve Sea Adventures only allows dogs from Nov - Feb. There is an additional cleaning fee of 60 EUR in a one-bedroom apartment and 90 EUR in a two-bedroom apartment when you bring a dog. Please send an inquiry if you want to know more about this.

This Kids & Family Surf School is the perfect place for your family’s surfing vacation in the Algarve.
ASA Algarve Sea Adventures offers surf courses for kids at an age of 6 years or older or even the whole family. They make sure to bring your little ones and you into contact with this exciting sport in a safe and fun way. Kids under the age of 13 need a little more supervision. They ensure this important individual attention as well as a safe and caring atmosphere by operating at a ratio of one surf instructor per four kids.
Small surfers have the ability to learn surfing faster, easier, and differently from adults. Therefore, the lessons are especially tailored to children. For parents joining the lesson, please be assured that they chose the beach with a focus on the little ones. The team will do their best that your day at the beach with them will be one of the top highlights of your vacation and maybe your first family surf trip!!

FAQs
How does it work?
You'll meet at the Quinta Formosinho in Praia da Luz. The course usually runs two sessions:
- Early bird : 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Lazy afternoon: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Meeting time is always 15 minutes before the lesson starts. All surfers will be equipped with a wetsuit and a soft board.
Is my kid old enough?
This surf camp requires kids for the Kids Surf Lesson to be 6 years old or older. If your kid loves the ocean, is able to swim, and wants to surf, then it is the right time. If your kid is afraid of the ocean, ASA Algarve Sea Adventures would recommends waiting one more year with the first surf lesson! ;)
Can parents participate in the surf lesson?
Yes for sure, but please know that 80% of the focus lies on your kids. They will give instructions to the parents, but if you look for a 100% surf lesson, then you should book another surf package.
What does my kid have to bring to a surf lesson?
Bottle of water (minimum 1L), snack, sun protection (protection factor 50+, water resistant and ideally ocean friendly), medical personal belongings, signed form by a parent or legal guardian including contact number.

Thorsten, fondly called Toto by his peers and students, will be in charge of your daily adrenaline schedule. His goal is to enlarge your activity desire each day and for you to have tons of fun. He and his team administer the dose of action according to your level. If you have any doubts about your recipe of activity, you can rest assure that you are welcome to let him know anytime.
Locatie
This camp will take place in the Quinta Formosinho apartment complex in Praia da Luz, an administrative subdivision located about six kilometers from the municipality of Lagos in the Algarve region of Portugal. It is a renovated farmhouse exuding an authentic Algarve feel with its green surroundings, pool, spacious garden, children’s playground, table tennis provision, and barbecue area. It takes just seven minutes of walking to the beach and to the city center.

Driving directions from Faro Airport (FAO)
- Once you are at the roundabout leading to the motorway, head in the direction of Sagres and Vila do Bispo on the N125.
- You will soon get into a newly-built roundabout.
- Take the exit to Luz, the one after the exit to Sagres and Vila do Bispo, and stay on that road for five minutes.
- After that, you will see white buildings on the left-hand side and at the entrance, you see a small sign that says Quinta Formosinho.
- If you drive past the brown sign that says Praia, you have missed the apartment complex because it is located 100 meters in front of the sign.
