If you like to surf rights, just a short walking distance away on the other side of Rio Nexpa is a cobble stone reef which often can be surfed with just you and your friends. It is also one of of the best tow-in surfing waves when the swells are pumping.

Your host, Juan (also known as John) married a local girl named Alfa, and their family now includes their two sons, Pablo and Marcos. He has spent the past 20 years on this Coast of Michoacan, Mexico, perfecting his skills guiding clients in the surf and taking them on fishing and diving expeditions.
If Juan is not surfing, then he is either out fishing, free diving with his spear gun, or towing in surfers with his jet ski on the biggest days. The package includes one fishing trip with the use of a fishing charter provided by Nexpa Surf Camp. Nexpa Surf Camp has a 24-feet Panga with 60 HP Yamaha, Live Well, and Bimini Top. There is also a 12-feet aluminium boat with 10 HP, and Nexpa Surf Camp will provide Shimano Reels.
Offshore fishing will give you chance to catch sailfish, mahi mahi, tuna, marlin, while inshore fishing will give you chance to catch mackerel, rooster fish, red snapper, jack trevelle, and bonita. You can also go spear fishing and snorkeling. Surf boards are welcome aboard if you want to catch some waves along the way.
The captain has more than 35 years of sport fishing and diving experience. The best months for fishing is November to March. Whale-watching is also possible and you can do this from the roof top deck of Villa Tropical.
