You will be staying at Playas del Tayrona's shared dorms just in front of a beautiful surf spot and only three kilometers from the main entrance of the majestic Tayrona Park. The farm-hostel has all facilities and it is located far away from busy regions in the middle of a stunning jungle.

You will arrive at Santa Marta. Newtours Colombia will welcome you at Simón Bolívar International Airport (SMR) and you will be transferred to the Tayrona Sector. Later, check in at the hostel, and enjoy a free surf in the afternoon at the spot out front. The farm-hostel is just in front of one of the best waves of the area.
Free surf at the best spot of the day, depending on your surf level. For the next 4 days, you can enjoy nonstop surf sessions. Framed by lush and virgin forests, its protected terrains have long been recognized as some of the world’s most beautiful and exotic landscapes. Formed by the glaciers and snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada, its rivers, which ultimately drain into the Caribbean Sea, nurture lush environments inhabited by a variety of birds, monkeys, and herds of Indian settlements.
The park’s diverse climates offer a unique backdrop to a wide range of attractions from white sand beaches bounded by huge rocks inside the sea, mangroves, and coral reefs in the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea to dry forests to the highest coastal mountains the world. This natural paradise, with an area of 15,000 hectares, is considered one of the most important ecological reserves in South America.
There is good surfing all year around but don´t expect to come here and score big powerful waves. It is more an easy-going surfing for intermediates and beginners. Most swells are three - five feet range but it can get double this during the hurricane season between August and November.
Additionally, to all the awesome surfing you can do, you can also participate in all kinds of different activities like jungle hiking, discovering waterfalls, visiting natural parks and indigenous villages as well as SUP tours through mangroves. This trip has been designed by Colombian surfers with more than 20 years of experience.
