Program

Day 1

Newtours Colombia welcomes you at the Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport (BAQ). Then, you will be transferred to Puerto Colombia, just 20 minutes from Barranquilla and check in at the hotel. You can take part in your free surf in the afternoon to enjoy your first surf session at the spot out front. Short briefing to plan your surf stay will be shown up.

Day 2 and day 3

Surf guides or instructors will pick you up early in the morning. They know the area like the back of their hand and will choose the best surf spot according to your level to start your lessons or guiding. In the afternoon, you can chill out in one of the beach bars and enjoy sundowns. Optional surf lessons are available. On day two or three, you will visit Barranquilla in the late afternoon to make an exciting nightlife Caribbean music tour.

Day 4

This is the day for the last surf session. It is the time to pack up and travel back. Newtours Colombia will take you to Barranquilla in an uncomplicated and entertaining way.

Location

The camp will take place in Puerto Colombia, Colombia. Puerto Colombia, a small town approximately 20 minutes from Barranquilla, is the place where you will spend amazing days. The main surf spots are in the surroundings and are ideally suited for all surfing levels. Surfing here is easier in a number of ways. Waves are not as high, surf spots are easily accessible, and tourist infrastructure is well developed.

More than five surf spots, in only a 15-minute distance, can be chosen to enjoy your surf sessions. The surf is consistent throughout the year and the waves themselves offer both left and rights. There are some chillout clubs, restaurants, and shacks along the beach that offer fresh fruit, delicious food, and cold beverages. The culture, cuisine, exuberant people, history, and beautiful natural landscapes of this place make it a must-see in the Caribbean.

Barranquilla is a port city laid out in a tangled ribbon along mangroves and the Caribbean Sea. It is currently the fourth largest and most important city in Colombia. Diverse colorful locations, rhythms, and dance styles make Barranquilla a unique place to vacation.
