Naif is a good location for those who are looking for the best comfort and facilities. It's a natural, exclusive, and unique place for surfers and kitesurfers.
After traveling a lot through the cold mountains we just found our paradise to calm down and be warmed by the sun and the friendly crew of NAIF! We stayed for a week, went surfing and had yogaclasses close by. There is a possibility to cook, enough hammocks to relax and a pool to cool down. We also used the laundry service and it was quite ok! Totally recommended to stay there!

We were fortunate enough to stay at Naif Rustic & Ecological Lodge, only a two minute walk from both the beach and main town! When you walk into Naif, instantly you feel as though you are in another world - something that you would imagine paradise to be just like! We were greeted by the lovely owner Cynthia who showed us to our room and told us “this is your home here, relax and make yourself comfortable”. With our own private little terrace with a table, chairs, and two hammocks, it was nice to have our own space to enjoy the outside sunshine. Inside our beautifully crafted bamboo house, we had lots of space to store our things, and a comfortable bed set-up with a mosquito net, fresh towels, ceiling fan, and a private ensuite! The peaceful common area for all guests to share is filled with relaxing hammocks, sun-beds, tables and chairs, and cushions - all surrounded by palm trees and greenery. Ultimate paradise! With a communal and fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, and pool all accessible at the lodge, we really had no reason at all to leave here for the day! Cynthia was extremely helpful and can also assist with arranging activities such as yoga, surfing lessons, kite surfing, fishing, and massages. There are also Peruvian cooking classes which she runs, where guests can learn more about the local cuisine and how to make delicious dishes such as ceviche and causa - if you stay here, make sure you enquire about this! Just when we thought we may need to leave our little retreat to get something to eat, we discovered that there is a wood-fire oven on location, where home-made pizza’s are cooked each night! For an affordable 30 soles (most decent meals in town are around this price), we ordered a vegetarian pizza - so delicious and topped with so much cheese, mushroom, tomato, and sauce goodness! We had such an enjoyable experience at Naif that we can’t recommend highly enough this lodge, and will certainly return if visiting Mancora once again!
