Moses Bay Resort have a long private sandy beach that has barely been touched by tourism and moderate climate all year around, that turns it into a perfect destination for many activities and water sports. its unique location provides ideal conditions for the beginners, combined with flat water makes it perfect for blasting, free style, bump and jump, and great wave location too.
Moses Bay Resort has 56 rooms including 6 family suites and 10 bungalows, all equipped with air conditioning, fridge, satellite TV, sea view, and bathroom. The hotel is situated in a beautiful picturesque garden and has its own private beach. You will enjoy all the time there during your whole holidays. Nice atmosphere, quiet, not crowded, and not noisy. Just relax and enjoy your time while sitting on the terrace, or having a cup of coffee in the garden.
El Tur is best suited for good intermediate or advanced kitesurfing rider who are looking for a combination of flat water blasting and wave sailing - this is the only spot in Egypt that offer true wave sailing conditions. Moses Bay Resort feel that this less known spot is one of the best sailing locations in the region and is superb for kitesurfing holidays, its very good value as well. Their spot has four different areas for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
There is a lagoon for beginners and maybe some freestyle tuition and practice. The main stretch, which runs directly from the private beach across the main bay to the mosque, is generally flat, but with some wind blown, chop in front of the lagoon for some chop hop, jumping practice, or aerial freestyle launch pad. The run back allows you to plane right back into the beach, or practice carve gybes on perfect flat water conditions. To the outside, where the Gulf of Suez wraps round into the bay, rolling swell offers big launch pads for jumping or some swell riding. A few kilometers up the Gulf of Suez, a full wave beach is located. This has side-on to onshore winds depending where you sail and gives proper breaking waves up to two meters. It's great for major jumping and proper wave riding, and no reef to worry about.
El Tor, an authentic Egyptian town, is the capital of South Sinai and less than 100 kilometers from Sharm El Sheikh. El Tor is a real Egyptian provincial town with quite a number of little shops, markets, cafes, and shops with homemade traditional Egyptian carpets. El Tor is an increasingly known windsurfer destination. It offers a wide range of sailing for all levels of windsurfer. The beach shelves away smoothly into shallow water providing a safe entry into the sailing zone. Perfect conditions to practice your water sports.
The hotel offers a buffet style breakfast and dinner, with a wide choice of local specialties and western style food. Lunch is normally served at the beach at the new beach bar, and you can choose from a simple menu of pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, and salads. The free healthy snack lunch is served on the beach from 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM. Food is available to satisfy every appetite. Local fish specialties and continental cuisine are often served, vegetarian dishes are always available. If you have any requirements for your diet, please report at reception - it will be included and served in the main restaurant and lobby bar.
