Ultimate beachfront, that’s how close this camp is to the beach. If you’re a slow walker, it might take you 2 minutes. Spot X Surf Camp has a range of accommodations from dorm rooms to waterfront cabins, or tipis.
Spot X has all the facilities including absolute beachfront accommodation, Wi-Fi, kiosk/shop, beach activities, dorm share & tipi style accommodation, private room upgrades, volleyball, river Kayaking tours, Surf rafting, kangaroo trek (nearby), chill out zones, hammocks, fire pit, laundry, party room, camp kitchen, and TV room.
You have the option of staying in either a dorm or tipi depending on the date you'll be staying.

They upgrade their equipment annually which means their surf gear won’t let you down while you tackle the Aussie surf. As you progress, they can also supply more advanced boards for the intermediate surfer.

Location
Spot X is nestled in a beautiful remote location on the east coast of Australia. Situated in a National Marine Park, Spot X provides a unique opportunity to spend time in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal areas. It’s what they like to call ‘ultimate beachfront’ since you can see the ocean from almost every one of their accommodation options. It’s the perfect place to learn to surf, chill out, make new friends, and hang by the campfire!
Food
It won’t take you long before you’ve surfed up an appetite and the chefs have you covered. Buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner will keep you full and ready for all the action. Mojosurf Australia offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, just please let them know your preference before you arrive.
Camp meals
- Breakfast: Selection of cereals, porridge, toast and fruit.
- Lunch: Wraps and/or bread with deli meats and salads.
- Dinner: A different hot meal will be cooked every evening.
There is no bar at Spot X so you can bring your own drinks and keep them in the fridges provided. Spot X runs a free shuttle to the bottle shop every evening. Please note that to use up all your inclusions on your package, you are best to leave the camp on your last day at the same time you arrived in on your first day.

An experience not to be missed.
Optional extra activities available for purchase include surf rafting, kayaking or kangaroo trek (this is where you visit the local driving range that has a resident population of about 400 wild kangaroos. Bring the camera as you can get up close and personal).
