      This was my first surf trip taking boat rides to different breaks around the area. It was awesome! Even when swell small, caught some great waves and had a blast with the staff and fellow guests. When not surfing, luxurious meals 3x/day, reading in the hammock, yoga, chess, etc...Highly recommend this location for anyone looking to surf in a warm, uncrowded area. Thank you Miramar!

      "Incredible vibes "

      Everything about my stay at Miramar was incredible, from the decor and art, to the food and company. I was in touch with Brittney throughout my travel to Nicaragua, and everyone on staff made me feel like I was part of the family. Traveling solo the extra support & safety is so essential!

      I joined other guests on boat trips and dinners, sunset swims & surfs, as well as long morning walks exploring the coastline.

      The food was healthy and locally-sourced, and my surf instructor Caio was incredibly knowledgable and patient.

      Grateful for this experience and looking forward to going back.

      "This place is amazing"

      First of all, between Sergio and Pastor there was plenty of English speaking to answer all of my questions. I was somewhat nervous about not speaking any Spanish, but they made it easy.

      The camp is just gorgeous. There are so many places to chill and relax while watching the ocean waves, surfers, and locals doing their business. The bar is nice, and everyone congregates at night to drink, share stories, and have fun. I made a new group of friends, which was unexpected; a surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

      The surfing was great for me. I'm a brand new, rank beginner, so the waves were perfect. Actually we had to try a few locations out to find one where the waves were small enough. If you're a beginner it'll be ok, and I think more experienced surfers have plenty to occupy them as well.
