Although my flight was delayed, I was met at the airport with a big smile and a warm welcome. It was past midnight when I arrived at the camp/house and Marta offered me a beer before insisting on cooking me dinner. A great start to a great trip. I had asked for guiding as was keen to get to know as many different surf spots as possible. Everyday Marta and Aziz would check the forecasts, make a few calls and then set off for the best waves for the day. Often we would arrive at a spot, think it looked ok, only to be told that there were better waves on offer if we were happy to get back in the van and keep driving, which paid off every single time. At each spot they take time to talk you through everything you need to know to feel confident and safe before you get in. Once in the water, it is like surfing with friends, they happily give advise and encouragement to help you progress, and when the sets come through, they also teach you to jostle for position and work for your waves! As well as taking you to the best waves, they also know the best places in and around Dakar to eat, drink, relax and be happy. Marta and Aziz clearly love what they do and go above and beyond to make the whole experience as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. I will be returning asap.

Just an amazing place with cool people, good food, and good spirit. The surf trip were really nice because we took the van to Yene, the boat to Ngor, another van to Secret... And you still have Yoff in front, if you want to chill. Thanks so much to Marta, Aziz, Chloe, Denis, and all the team!
We spent a couple of days in Dakar, surfing several spots with Marta, Azis and their great tribe! The surf camp located by the beach provides a friendly environment for anyone searching for an entry gate into the country. Marta and Azis will definitely help you to sort our your plans, or make you feel at home so that you'll stay there for the whole period of your stay ! Don't miss it !
